mam, suppose if the creditor(A) needs urgent money and transfers his bill of exchange to the bank, then who must pay the bank, either the creditor(A) or the buyer(B), and again if the bank urgently needs money and if transfers bill of exchange to the RBI, then who will pay the money to the RBI, bank or the buyer(B)?
Mam number of parties in the bill of exchange are "3" entha one mark purila mam. Entha conseptla drawer and drawee mattum thana mam erupanga... Then how 3 person is involved.
The three parties are drawer, drawee and payee. Eg. Mr. A sells goods to Mr. B on credit. Then look below Drawer- Mr. A- bill prepare panravar- normally the seller who sells on credit Drawee - Mr.B - ivaru perula than bill prepare pannuvanga - the buyer Payee - one who receives the money from the drawee - drawer himself can be the payee or bill yarukkavathu transfer pannitta for eg. X kku transfer pannittaruna then X will be the payee
USD. -$1.00 Washington, D.C. 20220 United States Date Drawn three months after date, Pay to the order of JOHN REESE DOE a sum of -one United States dollar only, for value received. John Reese Address , $1 stamp👍(bottom right of BC) 1. Is it a must to write the word only? 2. Do you need to write for value received? 3. Does all capital letters matter? If the drawer is John Henry And you put Pay to the order of JOHN HENRY DOE Does this matter?
1. The word only is added to make the amount more exact so that any misuse or fraud can be avoided. 2. "Value received" is added to specify that the amount is paid in return for some consideration received by the drawee. 3. Writing the name in capital letters makes it more legible and readable and further helps to avoid the name being altered. 4. Pay to the order of JOHN means the amount specified in the bill can be paid either to John or to any other person whom he orders or authorises. This helps John to transfer the bill to some other person
