'Empire Of The Undead' will be released as CD, LP, Limited edition CD with extra visual content and a box that features the CD, a shirt and a poster. The new album follows the success of 'To The Metal' which brought GAMMA RAY back in the highest positions of the sales charts worldwide. 'Empire Of The Undead' is set to release March 28th 2014.

Kai is a GOD of Power Metal! Excellent voice and superb song...
I love Gamma Ray as being one of the last bastion of Epic solos in metal. I know there's a lot out there, but new waves of metal don't do solos or barely, even popular power metal bands tend to stray away from it. Here though, Kai and friends are getting wild as if it was their last day on earth. Keep rocking on Gamma Rayniacs!

This has got to be one of the All Time great Metal Anthems. it ranks right up there with Black Sabbath's Heaven and Hell, Judas Priest's Victim of Changes, And Iron Maiden's Hallowed be thy Name. it's that good.
Best Gamma Ray song in many years. This is a fantastic piece.
Then have a listen to "I will return" in case you haven't already, IMO it's even better. This is still really good, though. Best tracks off of the disc are Avalon, Hellbent, Empire and I will return.

Music of Insanity & Genius, Heading for tomorrow, Sigh no more was epical, deep and very very talanted.
So now I hear that Kai with Gamma Ray step on the 'right way' again after the Land of the Free was recorded.

This track is the best heavy metal has offered in the new decade, in my humble opinion. Helloween's albums do sound more cohesive, but as a single track, this one stands out.
This song is going to become a great Metal classic for Gamma Ray!! If the rest of album sond like this one, Empire Of The Undead is going to be among their the best album for Gamma Ray!!!

I don't know why people are bashing the other songs... I love Master of Confusion, Empire of the undead, all of the ones I've listened! Gamma Ray is freaking Gamma Ray there isn't a song I l don't like! But that's just my opinion...

I have to admit I was worried about this album not having enough variety in it. I just got my CD and listened to it twice through, and I must say that all my worries were unfounded. THIS is classic Gamma Ray, the way it was meant to be. Lots of variance in style. They're back, and they've never sounded better!
And by the way, this epic song is the PERFECT way to kick off the new album. I felt right at home the moment it started. Thank you Gamma Ray for yet another great album to put into my mix. I'm proud to have it in my collection!

Kai Hansen was the leader and main composer of Helloween, a band that influenced all the power metal bands, including Blind Guardian and Kamelot (later).

This is true Gamma Ray, not like the other songs I've heard on this album. If the rest is like this then it's going to be a good album but if not, then it won't be worth it.
