Sandra Sanchez 🇪🇸 becomes the first champion of the Olympic Karate competition after defeating Kiyou Shimizu 🇯🇵 in the final of Female Kata (scores of 28.06 to 27.88).

¡Para nada!... La verdad es que Kiyou Shimizu estuvo muy superior. Y los jueces muy miopes. Más parece favoritismo. Hay algo de política en esto.

In my eyes Japan won Sanchez was very good she shouted and pulled more faces and I believe that's why she won no doubt
it is good for karate that the japanese do not always win. its like the korean winning all archery. That makes the archery sport boring for everybody else.

These Chatanyara Kusanku are not traditional Okinawan kind. These JKF and WKF Kata are nothing but .... I don't know what to call this type of activity, too much Kabuki influence dance acting, I must say.
Traditional Okinawan Karate Kata is for actual fighting. I'm sure that this kind of Karate won't be in the next Olympic.
Como decía el malo de Contacto sangriento, el ladrillo no devolver los golpes, en este caso el aira no devuelve los golpes, este "karate" me parece una cutrez extrema...asombra que haya incluso medalla para este tipo de pantomimas...el karate es de 2 no de 1 chillando haciendo e imbécil.
