It's a terrible idea to hear Raghuram talk about Economy. Period. Remember that this is the man who said "So, If India becomes a super power, so what!?".
There is no need to be obsessed with becoming a superpower. If the lives of people improve and they become more productive, we would already become a superpower.
I agree but If India was a Super power before why Cant India be??@@ragul3204
Raising customs duty and protection from imports is economic reforms?
Demonetisation improved tax compliance 😅
Chaebols exported and competed in the global market! They did not take up airports, energy, ports etc
When Robert Vadra did wealth creation was it at the cost of others, or others are given level playing field same as Vadra.
😂😂😂😂
POLITICAL ECONOMY: THEORY & PRACTICE
Economy "Past, Present & Future" - Meant, Means & Will mean": 1. Demand 2. Consumption and 3. Employment. Most rulers can and will generate point "2". Many, more often than not fail to create The "points 1 & 3". 4. Demand creates inflation. If development can offset inflation price riaise will go un complained / un noticed. "Demand" generation is often ignored by Politicians & fill the vacume (blckholes of economy) with so called freebies. As on date each party has become expert of sorts in throwing into EBHs (ECONOMY BLACK HOLES) everything. Black holes rarely create habitable earths. They create gaseous un inhabitable galaxies.
THIS IS CALLED POLITICAL ECONOMIC THEORY.
probably rrr must apply this definition of growth gdp minus inflation then the whole 2004 to 2014 india had negative gdp ; MIL syndrome of left intellectual squeaking for cong-i master
RaghuRam Rajan became a buffoon after he commented about the implementation of digital transaction in India 😂😂
Manufacturing % of Inddian GDP went down after 2014-2024
Kids should attend school instead of YT
Spot on raghu. Privileges for 1% on the cost of 99% growth. Bjp rather than helping people growth, sucking our blood to feed super rich entrepreneurs. Before we used to see big entrepreneurs go down and rise of the new. But now it's simply a monopoly in every aspect of India. Super rich own everything, you cannot thrive in any business just because they control the commercial and retail market.
16:00 I bet this Pajjeet won't want to live under gov controlled by Chaebols, Btw All media is already controlled by Oligarchs in Inddia
Abusing fellow Indians as "pajeet" exactly like Pakistanis do. Wah!.. So nice of you.
Modi govt. brought New Education Policy. It is hard to effect education because it is primarily a state subject. How can you improve education when the politicians dole out teacher’s jobs for kickbacks. Dr. Rajan should have advised his friends in the Congress to make education and healthcare central to their manifesto in Karnataka instead of doling out freebies. Rajan has no practical advise on how to create more jobs. Also, it is wrong to attribute the job creation in construction only on infrastructure spend. It’s also because of reform called RERA that has increased the confidence in housing market.
UPA Government Achievements
1. Aadhar Card that led to multiple benefits for the individual and the government
2. Right to Information Act that empowered the common man
3. MGNREA that revived the rural economy
4. Mobile penetration that ushered the subsequent digital revolution
5. GDP growth of 300 % between 2004-2014 in spite of the global financial crisis, per capita income growth of 250%
6. Nuclear deal with US not only helped the India in improving its nuclear programs but smoothed out its relations with US
Asking Andhbhakts if they can share any such achievements of Modi government over the last decade other than building temples and statues!
What was the GDP growth between 2004 to 2014 in India?
The new data release shows that GDP growth during 2004 - 2014 averaged 6.7%, compared with the 8.1% (2004-2009) and 7.46% (2009-2014), respectively, estimated using the older method.
Dude . .. You are an Congress Andhbhakt if you are unable to see Modi govt's achievements. There are a ton of them. And one has to be really delusional to believe UPA had anything to do with mobile penetration.
The 2012 Anti Corruption protest was a Color Revolution in Inddia
India only had approx 15 days for reserve when Modi took over .
There was no fund for new defence buys which was already said by the then defence minister.
So stop crying
India grew far lesser than peer countries in year 2004-2014. We were on 11 th position after 10 years we were 10 th position . I don’t know what was upa achievement u talking about
