Was a student at Long Beach State in 1988-1991. These guys would regularly play free shows at The Nugget on campus. I remember quite a few Bob Marley covers in the set back then.
Remember real tall C.T. played basketball at Beach...was 6,9".or 6'11"...hahah cool s1party dude..inkew Cornbloom. Shave..the guys at the compound(!on signal Hill) Dan LoFii..noone called him that then....so couldn't miss him..I played music w some of those cats. Good venues...foothill tiki lanes 5902 out of bounds bogarts all kinds of placAls bar..diPiazzas. OC and LBC were a blast then ....greatdays....all this music was known mainly here...nowhere else...not before KROQ broke out w date rape...likke. Two years after it was out......better late (discovering was wasnREALLY happening) than never ......everything was better that way....less lames...squares and fags

Eric's a true bass player. I love those bass lines he plays. And unlike most bands you can actually hear the bass with Sublime. Check out Bud Gaugh yeah he's right on time come listen Eric Wilson drop the funky bass line!!! Love that part.
I grew up in OC but I wasn't old enough in 1990 to see them so I missed one of the greatest band ever by being born too late! Can't believe he only had six years left on Earth in this video . . .
This is Brad/Sublime at one of their best. That footage of Brad in that "lost house" footage with chicken is really crazy to watch though. It's hard to think that that was filmed only 4 or 5 years after this. Brad looks so much different in that span of time from this video.
