Shin Godzilla CAN work very well in the Monsterverse if done right. Explain that Shin is a mutated version of G's species who's healing factor has run amok to cancerous proportions. In effect, Shin would be a sick G that could actually come out as a dominant species if not put in check. Taking this route could better explain/introduce Biollante, Space G, & Destroyah or vice versa. A monster war which is a civil war.
Hell yeah I love the idea even Shin begin the finale calamity would make so much sense a gojira mutation cancerous to the Earth A organism that want to be the only organism It would even fit in with the original shin Godzilla movie
It makes more sense when you consider monsterverse godzilla limited evolution ability which is why in 2014 he has small spikes and is 107m high but afterwards he is taller with larger spines on his back. I real life cancerous tumours sometimes have hair teeth etc found inside, so it would make sense that a godzilla with a cancerous healing factor would end up heavily disfigured looking like shin godzilla. And the low intelligence of shin could be explained as nutrients going into brain development instead going to supplement the rapid growth and evolution
Or shin Godzilla can be a an alien which aliens can fuse Godzillas dna with alien dna to get shin Godzilla. If they introduce xiliens in the monsterverse that could work
We need another Shin Godzilla movie to fix the problems of the first. Recharging power is no way to fight a fight. I loved Shin because it was so different and monstrous!
The problem with Shin is, that after putting out so much power at once, his body automatically has to shut down for hours to recharge. In all that time he's completely susceptible to any and all attacks by an apposing kaiju.
Nothing can kill Shin Godzilla. He was supposed to take over the universe. His body was supposed to break into smaller animals and spread through the universe like the zerg. No way Legendary Godzilla has a chance.
This is true, but Shin Godzilla was always evolving...remember he had to learn how to breathe on land after being an aquatic being...so I'm sure Shin Godzilla would evolve to develope a work-around. Edit: Because he was only immobile during his evolutionary stages, so he could have easily evolve to the point of not being immobile OR having those humanoid offsprings to protect him during his transformation stages.
It be nice but there’s a lot of problems when it comes to Shin Godzilla, personally I feel Shin Godzilla is better with a stand-alone film anyways. Shin Godzilla has to shut down forcibly after using a large chunk of his energy which is a huge disadvantage. So having Shin Godzilla going on a 1v1 with another Kaiju isn’t really viable in this case.
technically he evolves to defend himself against whatevers attacking him. so we can only imagine what augments he would evolve in order to combat another creature.
Until he hits them with that death beam. That beam is nasty and arguably the most powerful weapon in the Godzilla series. And he’s only in his 4th form he won’t stop evolving until he become omnipotent. He is truly a god in carnage
I agree it Shin won't work in the Monsterverse, its much more likely that either Space Godzilla or Destroyah will be coming in. I'm really excited for their design!
@@rreevesb3 that's also one of his problems he evolves to quickly I would eventually take over the earth so he would eventually become to strong with evolution
@@rreevesb3 I get it, but really I don't feel Shin's style fits the Monsterverse. Sure, some form of remake could potentially work, but the original design kind of clashes with Legendry's aesthetic
Yeah I think Destroyah would be the most likely of the ones you mentioned, the oxygen destroyer was used in KOTM which was the origin story of Destroyah so shows continuity, however Ghidorah is an alien so that could open the door to Space Godzilla. I'd prefer Destroyah though.
ShinGoji works best as a long-term threat. Something to remember is that, even while he was being frozen, his tail was evolving into a legion of humanoid creatures likely sharing a hive-mind with the main creature. Also, in a deleted scene taking place soon after Shin was struck in the back, it’s shown that any and all chunks of his flesh that’s been blown off will slowly evolve into another Shin, like a starfish.
Shin would become too powerful for the monsterverse He would have weakness at first But if you can’t completely destroy every cell he will easily come back stronger
Not only would it be awesome to see Legendary Godzilla and Shin Godzilla fight but it would also be the first-ever time two actual iterations of Godzilla ever fought
Shin Godzilla is a complete wild card in the entire gojiverse. We practically know EVERYTHING about all the other Godzilla incarnations like their abilities, but Shin is still mysterious in terms of potential. He constantly evolves, mutates, and adapts, thus gaining new abilities as time goes on. This gives him an infinite potential that can far outclass any Godzilla incarnations if given enough time. Godzilla Earth became the monster he is after like 100 years. Just imagine how Shin would turn out if given that much time. He could be equal or stronger than Godzilla Earth.
If Shin has all these weaknesses, he would not work too well in the Monsterverse. However, his unusual atomic blast powers would be an asset to Monsterverse Godzilla. In addition to the Atomic Pulse Explosion, the all-over-the body and tail energy beams would make a great secret weapon that Monsterverse Godzilla could use as a final surprise last resort attack.
Well there would be changes that he can make to himself to adapt to this new world full of challenges about his height so he would evolve to be better built for fighting head to head like bulkier and more flexible arms and legs
@@hematite7637 Or put him in the Hollow Earth and let the atmospheric differential initiate the necessary changes, like heavy armor-like skin, increased strength, longer, more braulic arms. Then, as we all know with the other Godzillas, test him against the other denizens to build his fighting experience and badass attitude.
I mean he can just adapt and overcome like anything you ppl need to stop downgrading shin he has insane regen and insane adapt time he would most likely adapt to fight all the monsters of the monsterverse
I just thought the issue would be that he would be too powerful. Canonically shin Godzilla becomes the destroyer of the universe then the universe itself. It is time. And it makes life what it wants to be like.
He would eventually become OP due to his non stop evolving it would be so powerful nothing could stop it however he probably wouldn’t make it that far if he fought in his 4th form. Also that beam he shoots is nasty and arguably the most powerful weapon in the Godzilla franchise . And he’s only in his 4th form he won’t stop evolving until he becomes omnipotent. He is truly a god in carnage
It would be interesting but that will be a more controversial battle possibly separating Godzilla fans as I like shin Godzilla but legendary Godzilla is what introduced me to the rest of Godzilla movies
I was born in 86 but when I was about 6 years old I watched Godzilla vs. Megalon 1973 and that's what got me FULLY into everything Godzilla. So from the on I watched all his past films and all his movies following. Godzilla, Gamera, King Kong, Jet Jaguar, etc.
Well at first he was dumb due to him being somewhat like a pure animal at first but he will learn and learn due to him evolving as he grows and he'd analyze Legendary Godzilla's body structure for him to create a body plan of his own to evolve into, hence his alternative 5th form not the humanoid godzilla ones
Legendary Godzilla would win, for sure. Shin is just too slow in movement and his only physical attack would be with his tail. Despite being very powerful, powering up his atomic breath takes time and Legendary would have enough time to get close and attack. So unless Shin evolves his body to a build that can be used for brawling, Legendary would come out on top in the end.
You're forgetting two things about shin Godzilla the first thing is that Shin Godzilla can regenerate from a singular dorsal plate from his back meaning just like the shinamora from Godzilla Awakening unless if Godzilla completely incinerates this creature it will come back and unlike this you tomorrow Shin Godzilla will come back stronger and more capable evolving each time that he loses which would probably only be once or twice. The other thing which almost nobody talks about and I can fully understand is that the physics are different in the monsterverse Shin Godzilla's physics in his world were way more strict making shins evolutions slower and take more time due to energy issues after coming in contact with the monsterverse and coming in contact with legendary Godzilla Shin Godzilla will be able to produce the same energy that the monsterverse Godzilla does making his energy usage much more efficient speeding up his evolution and other capabilities I still think around one or two would go to legendary Godzilla but after Shin Godzilla grows back he'll be too overpowered for Godzilla to stop however if burning Godzilla was in the equation then all bets are off legendary Godzilla would win
@@memyselfandijo2526 Are you trolling me, right now? Where did you get the idea that Shin can regenerate from a single dorsal plate? Because it’s not from the movie based on what I have watched.
@@Smiller1689 it IS from the movie , it was confirmed by the director plus in the movie when the scientist were studying shin they learned that shin can evolve from a single cell , that's why they decided to freeze it instead of keeping bombing it
@@Smiller1689 and there's even a deleted scene of a piece of meat that fall from him while he get bombed and it started evolving teeth and eyes after that night when shin bombed the city ,so it doesn't even take long and if legendary rip shin's skin or even makes it bleed, shin will multiply
@@riyadriyad5911 I remember the movie saying that Shin could evolve to have wings, but I never heard them say it can regenerate from a single cell nor dorsal plate.
Shin would hold his own with anyone due to his awesome weaponry. However, I think he would also evolve after battles with other Kaiju and that evolution would definitely lengthen the arms and add bulk. He doesn't have to be the athletic powerhouse that Legendary Godzilla seems to be, instead, he would just need to add a little more use of the arms and improve the movement. This creature has one main key and that is constant evolution and adaptation. So, we most assuredly could see some wild features from Shin and even if you throw Shin in there as it is, slow, methodical and lumbering...it would still rip other kaiju to shreds with his awesome blasts from mouth, tail and spines!!! Yeah, it took me a minute to get used to Shin, but it has become one of my favorite films, then again, I will be 56 if I make it til June and I am a TOHO guy through and through!!! They are the innovators and they produced the great films of my youth and to me, nothing compares to watching a legit TOHO/Japanese production!!!
I like to see Shin Godzilla in the MonsterVerse, in a way to keep this Shin coming back for more after its sequel was canceled. Hope someday the Legendary can do something about it. Because Shin is my favorite Godzilla.
Hear me out... Shin Godzilla evolves into the monsterverse Destoroyah. - Shin's atomic breath has the same sound and color as Destoroyah's already. - It was stated in the movie that were Shin to continue to evolve, it could potentially form wings and fly. - Like Destoroyah, Shin has the potential to spawn more, smaller forms of itself. - Shin could become Destoroyah to adopt a more combat-oriented form after an initial encounter with legendary godzilla, as well as become much more powerful than him. - Destoroyah is able to evolve and become stronger at a rapid pace, much like shin. - Destoroyah is a very underrated godzilla kaiju, and putting it in a monsterverse movie could be a nice chance to see him revamped. - Shin could be another one of godzilla's species; juvenile, but heavily mutated. It could lead to an interesting dynamic between it and legendary godzilla, especially after he just fought one of his species' ancient rivals in the last movie. - Shin's overheating quality could somehow lead to legendary's burning godzilla.
Maybe godzilla can try to find a way to help "cure" shin from his horribly scarred, mutated body, try to stabilize his cells, and basically use hollow earth radiation to turn him into a more stable godzilla form where he isn't feeling constant pain and can think more clearly. Shin would become kind of like a second Dagon.
I think it could actually work in the monster verse if you go down the route of it being an attempt at cloning Godzilla gone wrong. That could be the explanation of why Shin looks like Godzilla and why it can use his atomic breath.
If I was going to put Shin Godzilla into the Monsterverse, I would probably have it redesigned a bit and be the apex of Godzilla's species. As far as who would win, that is tough. I would have to choose Shin Godzilla just because of the rapid evolution that it is able to achieve.
I would've made shin an old apex of Godzilla species that hibernated in the Pacific ocean until a nuclear bomb test is done accidentally on top of it and shin awakens but shin has still not gone to land until some time around 2030.
We also can be for sure that he could and would continue evolving because the creators have stated this and there is a literal book about the guy but hardly any copies were made and it’s nearly $500 and most of the time people sell damaged ones or books missing pieces from the collection.
Maybe a battle with this Shin Godzilla as a Hollow earth Gojira, maybe slay in battle with the help of Burning Godzilla, Kong and maybe using the help of Apex to clone and hybridize that one with Godzilla or maybe after a huge battle of Kong-Zilla with a Comatose Godzilla
Trex arms are incredibly useful! They actually don’t need them and are believed to have evolved smaller arms so they didn’t get in the way when eating. Trex is believed to have acted very similarly to hyenas or scavengers that could also kick ass but they would save energy and when grubbing done much like gators they could accidents bite each other’s arms off.
In my head he would work as a big bad for all the kaiju. After godzilla sees this multiversal feind he has a fight to save the earth. Eventually leaving a wake of destruction in their path. Out of anger the legendary version of godzilla shoots an atomic breathe powerful enough to reset time. He roars warning his fellow titans and together they wipe out shin godzilla.
Hm. Great video! I'd love to see an "East vs West" Shin vs Legendary Goji fight, but one thing I disagree with in the video is Shin's intelligence. I don't think Shin was stupid or anything like that, especially compared to other Godzillas. Shin always struck me as a cunning and cold, calculating creature. Sort of like a shark or a reptile, where you truly don't know how intelligent they are. Luckily for us, we sort of have an idea of what Shin was thinking during the events of the film, as the song 'Who Will Know' details it's thoughts. Just my honest thoughts. God, I love these conversations lol
Arms aren't exactly needed, Shin can use its jaw instead. All that would be needed for that is to make shin slightly more athletic so he could lean forward and bite things. The tail can easily be used as a whip against other Kaiju, and the atomic ray it has would shred a lof of the monsterverse kaiju
they could try incorporating it as a mutated unstable out of control clone attempt (first failed experiment before biollante). Like there could be some bio facility that specializes in DNA and cloning that experimented on godzilla cells (the g-cells etc)
How about nuclear Godzilla vs shin Godzilla. that I think Godzilla might stand a chance just due to the tail attack that shin has in the back beans and shin God's tail might be able to wrap around Godzilla's neck so in my opinion I think shin Godzilla might win the first two rounds and then Godzilla with his nuclear state wins the entire round
Here's a thought, work him in a-la Kiryu style. Kiryu or MechaGodzilla III of course was the one that had the OG godzilla skeleton on the inside during the Godzilla 2000 era. What if Monarch, or the other G-Defense Force style organization made their own Godzilla, one in a lab that, due to that unnatural creation, came out as twisted and sickening in form as Shin does. They could have even captured one from Hollow Earth and tortured it into such a form where they intend to control it, either with an exoskeleton that inevitably breaks down or some sort of neurode control that also gives way the first time Shin unexpectedly overheats midfight.
I believe Shin could hold his own in the monsterverse, at least for a time unless he picks a fight with the Big G or gets out maneuvered by another Titan with some capabilities to match on the off chance both parties meet, or he’ll fein submission to Godzilla until a more powerful evolution takes place since his atomic power and ability to evolve makes for a good deterrent to any known Titan like Scylla or Behemoth or Muto Prime. But considering his low intelligence and volatile nature it’s likely he’ll step out of line, attack a city, and likely get the G-man and the military to take him out while he charges up due to so much power output by him
@@babyrambo Oh definitely. He’s more brawn than brains compared some the other titans and will get stomped out. But not without an awesome fight of course
Well, if shin Godzilla was in the monster-verse, he would have to be a protagonist And probably not have the disability of the recharge and overheat and shin Godzilla would have to also have the ability of the monster- verse Godzilla Like have bigger arms
This animator here on youtube actually did a Godzilla vs Shin Godzilla video, part 1 is the only one that's finished right now, but I am hoping that they'll have the next part ready soon.
I've always seen Shin as The Thing (From the 1982 horror movie) of Kaiju. he's a hideous creature that looks like Godzilla, but isn't Godzilla. If he were to be in the Monsterverse, I would have him a clone made by the humans to counter Godzilla should he ever go on a rampage, but is unstable and undergoing mutations, or a parasite sucked up Godzilla's DNA and is mutating to look like him. much like some of the creatures in Godzilla: The Series. a character named Cameron Winter wanted to clone Godzilla and succeeded, but the clone was horrible deformed. ua-cam.com/video/MDxhcFRTExs/v-deo.html
@@superzilla784 that's not an opinion, the film literally has shin godzilla, godzilla as its name, and they call the creature godzilla. He is a godzilla, just a different kind of it
@@super_productions24 I mean seriously, it's just my own personal view on this. do you know how many people say Godzilla is female despite him being KING of monsters and are always calling him a He? do I argue with them? no. I seriously don't care. that's how they see it. but something like that seems to get under your skin if you're here fighting with me about it. You don't allow the opinions of others. you just said, "That's not an opinion." everything has to be your way. no exceptions. you'd be great with the Woke mob.
Jacob t rex's arms are not as useless as you think they are 2 and a half times stronger then a body builder and if used correctly they can pierce the skin of a medium size hydrosaur
I can picture a little story for Shin-Godzilla in the MonsterVerse (By anthonytonythegeek5561): Monarch has recently discovered an odd species off the coast of japan as of 2010, and have been monitoring it for the past 12 years. This species has seen recent activity due to the illegal dumping of radioactive material in the area, and have recently seen the creatures that have been affected by it the most becoming a large fish monster, some appear to have similar features to Godzilla so they called it “Shin Godzilla” due to this being a technical resurgence of Godzilla. Monarch studied the body of the frozen specimen that attacked Japan as of 2017, and noticed that this thing was able to evolve rapidly, even had the ability to create other creatures through division like a cell. Soon after these events, the Japanese government gave Monarch a chemical formula for a coagulant that will freeze the creature, just in case the beast breaks free. "Only god knows what would happen if this thing ever got out." The ambassador of japan told one of the agents at Monarch. "I don’t think even Godzilla could defeat this thing... it might even truly be God Incarnate."
Huge fan of Shin. My absolute favorite monster movie. I just hope one day Shin returns. The ending of the Shin movie, where his hardened skin clicks still perplexes me as to why that scene ever happened. Why show it? What was the importance?
Apparently he was going to evolve again into a sort of hive-mind creature. He’d break off and continue evolving and since all his cells are like cancer always growing. He’s a walking collection of cancer cells but I mean he is in constant agony. The importance was showing that Shin is still a problem, they’ve only manage to slow him down. The creatures that are forming on his tail are vaguely humanoid so eldritch abomination status is right around the corner
I could see Shin Godzilla being depicted either as a mutation mimicking Godzilla, or a failed attempt by humanity to make their own Godzilla The creature would pretty much stay the same as the original Shin Godzilla, except it would be far more sympathetic, as an unnatural creature that is in constant pain that only knows hatred and sadness, it would actually try to avoid other titans focusing more on getting revenge against humanity for making him this way, but eventually conflict would arise with other titans and Godzilla would have to intervene, but unlike with Godzilla vs Kong where it was a fight for dominance Godzilla wouldn't be nearly as aggressive, he would see that Shin was simply suffering and lashing out against those who wronged him leading to Godzilla's hesitating but eventually they would have to fight, however the fight would not be a awe inspiring spectacle, eventually leading the Godzilla performing what was essentially a mercy killing for the poor Shin, but this event would also have lingering effects in the monsterverse especially on Godzilla, he would no longer view humanity as he once did and may even contemplating allowing them to continue existing after doing something so horrid, I know this probably isn't what people want from a Shin X Legendary story, but Godzilla has always been about giving a message, and a story that shows us that humanity can be just as monstrous as any Kaiju, and that we should be held access for what we as a species do or let happen is probably one of the best message we could get out of the Monsterverse or Godzilla in general
I would love to see legendary godzilla and shin godzilla battle each other in the monsterverse. Legendary Pictures and Toho should team up to make a film focused in that.
1:29 that head piece is so goddamn cool. Would love to get a copy. Legendary Godzilla would win easily. Shin Godzilla is just an animalistic, careless, violent, Kaiju that destroys everything in his path. No real thoughts or anything, just a moving, evolving living machine. Shin Godzilla is kind of like "Hedorah" in many ways if you think about it, a being or monster that is driven by instinct.
I think it would only be a brief moment in the monsterverse if shin godzilla was tossed in there, like many that have been tossed in and not done so well... with that said, legendary godzilla vs shin godzilla would be an endless battle since legendary would just beat shin most of the time until shin evolved again (multiple times probably) to become bigger and stronger. after a long fight (with multiple battles), i think shin would probably win at some point but only by putting most of the planet in danger at the same time (possibly?). not holding my breath on seeing an official film or tv series with that fight though xD IMO Shin is better as its own film as it is.
Imagine the Monsterverse version of Shin is just a Godzilla that suffers from its bio-nuclear composition, with some mutation that just screwed up how it's meant to exist. This could totally be one of the butchered projects of the humans since they started bio-engineering, and not having a great grasp on Godzilla's composition could explain the 'accidents' in its design.
If shin were to be introduced into the mv it would take place where he finally wakes up into the world and leaves japan, now facing monsters other than himself including a powerful alpha titan they could even have him evolve into a new form that suits the mv.
A cool way to introduce shin Godzilla would be for that he’s established to be the first Godzilla or a kind of “god” of the Godzilla species. He’s lead to be a myth but when he shows up, he wrecks everyone’s shit with his atomic laser attacks. If I were a director, I’d probably introduce him during a destoroyah movie or something. Putting him on the level of something that could kill Godzilla’s species left and right would definitely be awesome to see. In my head, I imagine a scene where destroyah and his smaller clone things have overpowered our Godzilla and are getting ready to finish him. Persecution Of The Masses starts playing and the camera pans over to a crimson Red Sea. The music begins to swell, a red fog begins to envelop the area over the sea. We start to see movement in the fog contrasted by lighting, showing us a silhouette of Shin. Then we see the purple lasers pierce the sky and turn the sky purple. And with that, Shin Godzilla debuts and obliterates the smaller clones of destroyah all while destroya stands back terrified and confused. Thanks for reading my long ass comment 😂
Please do more videos like this about how they can work in the Monsterverse of the following kaiju's: Gorgo & his mother Ogra, Reptilicus, the Rhedosaurus from the beast from 20,000 fathoms, The Ymir from 20 million miles to earth, The giant Behemoth from the film of the same name, the giant Claw, the Colossal man/beast, the Deadly Mantis, Clover from Cloverfield & Ultraman & some of the iconic kaiju & evil Aliens from his franchise including Gomora, Redking, Bemular, Neronga, Zetton, Tyrant, Baltans Mephilas & Zarab!
Well they can bring Shin Godzilla for Godzilla vs Kong 2. They can do a storyline about a scientist trying to create his own Godzilla. Kong fights Shin Godzilla. Next, Godzilla fights Shin Godzilla. Then the final battle, both Kong and Godzilla team up to fight the final form of Shin Godzilla. It can work.
If Shin was in the Monsterverse he'll likely be killed pretty easily given how quickly the government and monarch would be able to find his weakness, and the other Monsters would murder him pretty easily bc Shin is weak. Legendary Godzilla would hunt him down and wouldn't let him live , he'd mostly likely view Shin as an alien version of himself which is something Godzilla in the Monsterverse despises. Shin doesn't even have a personality so he would have no reason to fight against any of the other monsters. He would require a ton of energy to survive. He's also super slow and just Dumb,so he can't work.
By the time Shin would Fit in the monsterverse, He would be changed into something completely different. Shin's whole bit is he is evolving constantly, which would work in the monsterverse, just not to the scale Shin does it or as fast. Instead of a minor change to his body, the dude will practically change into completely different organisms that dwarf the strength of his previous state. in a monster verse where Shin exists, the thing would either need to be annihilated early enough or would simply overpower anything that goes against it eventually, then become a literal god by adapting to all the various unique monsters that may fight it. Imagine Shin vs Ghidora for example. I could totally see Ghidora winning a fight. but if shin escapes that fight, he is 100% coming back with the ability to fly AND likely a counter to Ghidoa's gravity beam. So now Shin can manipulate gravity, which he will likely use to create stronger fission/fusion reactions inside him to simulate the mass of a star, and now RIP earth I guess.
@@animezilla4486 I loved the human characters. In fact, a lot of them I recognized from Kamen Rider. Ichi Oomiya from Kamen Rider Build, Toshimasa Komatsu from Kamen Rider Amazonz, Shingo Tsurumi from Kamen Rider Fourze, and Ren Osugi (Ambassador Hell) was the prime minister.

Maybe shin, not just because of its large tail that can attack from a large distance, also because he can shoot a beam so hot that it CUTS BUILDINGS WITH EASE
if Shin Godzilla were to beat Legendary Godzilla it would need to evolve again. It is not use to having a different dominant species other than itself. That's why it would need to evolve to these new creatures.
If we want Shin Godzilla in the monsterverse, he could be a country’s failed attempt to make their own kaiju by genetically engineering a creature from Godzilla’s cells.
@@tubby1833 I mean if they found Kevin's head in the sea where the Oxygen Destroyer exploded they would also be able to find some remains of Godzilla, at least a tiny piece should've fallen off Godzilla when the Oxygen Destroyer hit.
I wish.. I was so hyped for shin godzilla and loved the movie saw it in theaters twice! it was a great modern remake of the original Gojira story, classic ToHo ♥, but I honeslty hated they left it on a godzilla/human hybrid cliff hanger then canceled the sequel.. Shin godzilla deserves a sequel such a intimating amazing form and abilities I have a shin godzilla statue that has little LED'S to make him glow red like he does in the movie its amazing and worth every dam penny 😂
Maybe a new creature that shares certain characteristics with Shin would be a better fit for the monsterverse. If they designed a creature that was ugly, unstable, shoots beams from its back and practically psychotic, it would get around such plot issues as Shin already being dead or Godzilla being the last of his kind or Godzilla being nowhere to be seen while Shin was around. It could be a "foe" that is neither good nor evil but whose mere existence has become a threat to the planet when it wasn't always like that. Caused by some genetic fault perhaps. Maybe conservationist geneticists resurrected Anguirus but things gradually went south during his new life. He'd end up being way more dangerous this time with lasers coming out his spikes, especially while he's doing his spin attack. Essentially, Godzillas got to find a way to stop "Shin Anguirus" before he explodes and wrecks the planet in the process. This would set it apart from the likes of the Mutos and Ghidorah. More of a tragedy than a straightforward tale of hero and villain.
I think this would be a cool idea! Keep the useless arms (for now!) We have seen several skeletons of Godzillas in Legendary films. Soooo....get some creative licensing, and make a hybrid Shin-Godzilla and mix it up with Biollante! Make it so the next evil company/organization take Zilla, Ghidorah, and MAYBE human and splice it together to create the new big bad! Imagine Big G and Kong fighting this chimera-like Kaiju?! What would Big G do, knowing it is something like him? Maybe have this thing able to cloud Godzilla's senses and now you have Godzilla vs Kong Round 2!!! Also, exploring the rapid evolution of Shin-Godzilla and the humanforms coming out of his tail would be interesting to see explored.
I've sort of have an idea for a multiversal Godzilla film, (based on a dream I had), that should have almost available every movie (cartoon) Japanese, American (& British) Kaiju and giant Monster and prehistoric creature, etc, that's available, more or less. the idea features at least three versions of Earth which start to get merged together as time/space and their universes start to collapse due to some unknown world-destroying force/ evil entity, meanwhile, Monsterverse Godzilla & (Resergance) King Ghidora have to join forces against Shin Godzilla & Destroyah, who've teamed up as the primary antagonists and are sort of working for and being controlled by this unknown evil entity...
I'd say Shin's biggest weakness is physical combat as said in the video. If Shin was an actual subspecies, I can see it only appearing as a pile of fossils, although their long range abilities are amazing and a must-have, they had to sacrifice almost all their melee.
Considering that the laws of physics were more strict in Shin Godzilla universe and on top of that Shin Godzilla can regenerate and evolve from pieces as small as a dorsal plate off of his back as well as having atomic breath that is 1,200,000°c. I'm pretty sure Shin Godzilla would be overpowered in the monster verse in spite of having one of the lower durability and speed of the different Titans. Also considering how that is already another Godzilla I'm pretty sure that if Shin Godzilla were to be added he would be introduced as a space Godzilla or destroyer instead of as a Godzilla or at least a normal variation. Also about my claim of his atomic breath first off it is official and second off burning Godzilla was said to only be about 22,000°c and considering how he killed monster zero by stomping his chest before the last pulse was released from ghidorah's chest indicating an energy core it means that Shin God's allows atomic breath would be more than powerful enough to puncture through the doors chest and explode him and Mechagodzilla is made of titanium which melts on a little above 1,000°c it gets crushed out of pressure around 63,000 PSI which is equivalent to about 23 tuns give or take two or three tuns. So considering everything Shin Godzilla is capable of I think the only monster who could put him down for good without him coming back stronger would be burning Godzilla
I would love to love to see Shin Godzilla make it into the monstervese even though i think it will not happen but it would be a idea to bring him on in.
I feel like we could get a shin Godzilla in spirit if not the monster itself. Every era has a monster that comes around and absorbs Godzilla dna to transform. It wouldn’t be too much of a stretch for legendary to take this route and create a horrifying Godzilla clone.
I have to say, Shin is an end boss monster. The last scene where little creatures were splitting from his tail was likely because it was the best way to deal with humanity. A fight with a Titan would just make Shin bigger and stronger

I loved Shin because it
was so different and monstrous!
The problem with Shin is, that after putting out so much power at once, his body automatically has to shut down for hours to recharge. In all that time he's completely susceptible to any and all attacks by an apposing kaiju.
YEA.. Fighting legendary godzilla will be pain for shin if he was exhausted
He has an automatic defense system when he's shutdown. But yes, I'm not sold on a Shin version appearing in the Monsterverse.
Also he is god incarnate
But this is only what we’ve seen and just one example. In the art book there are an entirety of concepts that could be made cannon
technically he evolves to defend himself against whatevers attacking him. so we can only imagine what augments he would evolve in order to combat another creature.
But he is also near invincible.
@@KazeMunashii Finally someone who understands shin Godzilla!
Shin could work. Shin would have to go through another change. One I've is evolutionary change.
Shin could work. Shin would have to go through another change. One I've is evolutionary change.
Shin would become too powerful for the monsterverse He would have weakness at first But if you can’t completely destroy every cell he will easily come back stronger
exactly
Agree
5th for. Tho
@@michaelbatts7149 shin can be an alien that coujd be cloned with Godzillas dna
I just thought the issue would be that he would be too powerful. Canonically shin Godzilla becomes the destroyer of the universe then the universe itself. It is time. And it makes life what it wants to be like.
He would eventually become OP due to his non stop evolving it would be so powerful nothing could stop it however he probably wouldn’t make it that far if he fought in his 4th form. Also that beam he shoots is nasty and arguably the most powerful weapon in the Godzilla franchise . And he’s only in his 4th form he won’t stop evolving until he becomes omnipotent. He is truly a god in carnage
I would love to see Shin Godzilla as part of the monsterverse, if ever there was a chance.
I really didn't expect shin Godzilla in the monsterverse but when you think about it it would be nice
It would be interesting but that will be a more controversial battle possibly separating Godzilla fans as I like shin Godzilla but legendary Godzilla is what introduced me to the rest of Godzilla movies
Same
1998 introduced me to the series
I was born in 86 but when I was about 6 years old I watched Godzilla vs. Megalon 1973 and that's what got me FULLY into everything Godzilla. So from the on I watched all his past films and all his movies following. Godzilla, Gamera, King Kong, Jet Jaguar, etc.
@@Homelander1 glad I’m not the only one
@@rishinsenguptagoddestroyer4195 that was a good movie
I have always loved Shin Gojira, i wanna see how he can work in the Monsterverse, okay Shin isn’t dumb.
Also SHIN ALL THE WAY BABY!!
Godzilla: Jeez Dagon what happened to you?
Shin: *foaming and drooling from mouth*
Legendary Godzilla would win, for sure. Shin is just too slow in movement and his only physical attack would be with his tail. Despite being very powerful, powering up his atomic breath takes time and Legendary would have enough time to get close and attack. So unless Shin evolves his body to a build that can be used for brawling, Legendary would come out on top in the end.
You're forgetting two things about shin Godzilla
the first thing is that Shin Godzilla can regenerate from a singular dorsal plate from his back meaning just like the shinamora from Godzilla Awakening unless if Godzilla completely incinerates this creature it will come back and unlike this you tomorrow Shin Godzilla will come back stronger and more capable evolving each time that he loses which would probably only be once or twice.
The other thing which almost nobody talks about and I can fully understand is that the physics are different in the monsterverse
Shin Godzilla's physics in his world were way more strict making shins evolutions slower and take more time due to energy issues after coming in contact with the monsterverse and coming in contact with legendary Godzilla Shin Godzilla will be able to produce the same energy that the monsterverse Godzilla does making his energy usage much more efficient speeding up his evolution and other capabilities
I still think around one or two would go to legendary Godzilla but after Shin Godzilla grows back he'll be too overpowered for Godzilla to stop however if burning Godzilla was in the equation then all bets are off legendary Godzilla would win
@@memyselfandijo2526 Are you trolling me, right now? Where did you get the idea that Shin can regenerate from a single dorsal plate? Because it’s not from the movie based on what I have watched.

@@Themountain6197 The problem is, shin's body neee to be completely destroyed, there is no way for the monsters to know that

Legendarygoji: Bro r u alright?
Shin goji: O P E R A
Maybe godzilla can try to find a way to help "cure" shin from his horribly scarred, mutated body, try to stabilize his cells, and basically use hollow earth radiation to turn him into a more stable godzilla form where he isn't feeling constant pain and can think more clearly.
Would it be terrifying if shin Godzilla *4th from* sprinted at you in full speed and ready to attack you?
It’s a very interesting concept on how shin Godzilla could work. Honestly kinda interested to see how legendary would do it lol
When he looks at the screen he like: yep, thats me, the litral lazer gun
Arms aren't exactly needed, Shin can use its jaw instead. All that would be needed for that is to make shin slightly more athletic so he could lean forward and bite things. The tail can easily be used as a whip against other Kaiju, and the atomic ray it has would shred a lof of the monsterverse kaiju
I guess since almost every big cinematic universe is doing multiverse stuff, this is just natural
they could try incorporating it as a mutated unstable out of control clone attempt (first failed experiment before biollante). Like there could be some bio facility that specializes in DNA and cloning that experimented on godzilla cells (the g-cells etc)
🤔Now this is a very feasible idea that would work in the MV. It would be inline with the evolution of Apex or Monarch 👍🏾
Looking forward to "the update".
As always, thank you so very much for the video.
I forgot to mention, using this cyborg mutant godzilla take would also allow the designers more liberties with Shin's arms and such so there's that.
But considering his low intelligence and volatile nature it’s likely he’ll step out of line, attack a city, and likely get the G-man and the military to take him out while he charges up due to so much power output by him
Shin is weak, he’s getting packed
@@babyrambo
Oh definitely. He’s more brawn than brains compared some the other titans and will get stomped out. But not without an awesome fight of course
Well, if shin Godzilla was in the monster-verse, he would have to be a protagonist
And probably not have the disability of the recharge and overheat and shin Godzilla would have to also have the ability of the monster-
verse Godzilla
Like have bigger arms
Image bringing every godzilla into the monsterverse like spiderman no way home
that would be cool, i wonder how a fight between heisei godzilla and finalwars godzilla would be
This animator here on youtube actually did a Godzilla vs Shin Godzilla video, part 1 is the only one that's finished right now, but I am hoping that they'll have the next part ready soon.
Dangerville, any thoughts on the possible Godzilla collaboration with Warzone?

I can picture a little story for Shin-Godzilla in the MonsterVerse (By anthonytonythegeek5561):
Monarch has recently discovered an odd species off the coast of japan as of 2010, and have been monitoring it for the past 12 years.
That evolution is not Godzilla anymore cuz he realize the humans are too op that's why hes evolving to several humans
I could see Shin Godzilla being depicted either as a mutation mimicking Godzilla, or a failed attempt by humanity to make their own Godzilla
The creature would pretty much stay the same as the original Shin Godzilla, except it would be far more sympathetic, as an unnatural creature that is in constant pain that only knows hatred and sadness, it would actually try to avoid other titans focusing more on getting revenge against humanity for making him this way, but eventually conflict would arise with other titans and Godzilla would have to intervene, but unlike with Godzilla vs Kong where it was a fight for dominance Godzilla wouldn't be nearly as aggressive, he would see that Shin was simply suffering and lashing out against those who wronged him leading to Godzilla's hesitating but eventually they would have to fight, however the fight would not be a awe inspiring spectacle, eventually leading the Godzilla performing what was essentially a mercy killing for the poor Shin, but this event would also have lingering effects in the monsterverse especially on Godzilla, he would no longer view humanity as he once did and may even contemplating allowing them to continue existing after doing something so horrid, I know this probably isn't what people want from a Shin X Legendary story, but Godzilla has always been about giving a message, and a story that shows us that humanity can be just as monstrous as any Kaiju, and that we should be held access for what we as a species do or let happen is probably one of the best message we could get out of the Monsterverse or Godzilla in general
who would win? the one with plot armor ofc.
i fell in love with shin godzillas appearance and adaptability

1:29 that head piece is so goddamn cool. Would love to get a copy. Legendary Godzilla would win easily. Shin Godzilla is just an animalistic, careless, violent, Kaiju that destroys everything in his path. No real thoughts or anything, just a moving, evolving living machine. Shin Godzilla is kind of like "Hedorah" in many ways if you think about it, a being or monster that is driven by instinct.
Aaaaaaayyyyy yoooooooo shhiiinnn myyy boooiiiiiiii
I think it would only be a brief moment in the monsterverse if shin godzilla was tossed in there, like many that have been tossed in and not done so well...
with that said, legendary godzilla vs shin godzilla would be an endless battle since legendary would just beat shin most of the time until shin evolved again (multiple times probably) to become bigger and stronger.
after a long fight (with multiple battles), i think shin would probably win at some point but only by putting most of the planet in danger at the same time (possibly?). not holding my breath on seeing an official film or tv series with that fight though xD
IMO Shin is better as its own film as it is.
Imagine being one of "those poeple" that would say something like
"SHIN GODZILLA WOULD NEVER MAKE AN APPEARANCE IN THE MONSTERVERSE!!"
And also space godzilla kinda makes me think that the space godzilla was normal until it was mutated now it space godzilla king of the mutants

This video was really amazing and I love it
A cool way to introduce shin Godzilla would be for that he’s established to be the first Godzilla or a kind of “god” of the Godzilla species.

Then the final battle, both Kong and Godzilla team up to fight the final form of Shin Godzilla. It can work.
That’ll be awesome for Shin Godzilla in the MonsterVerse
Do Gamera next, it be really interesting how everyone's favorite giant turtle would fit in the Monsterverse.
We made a video on that. Go surf our channel and you will see it!

Shin godzilla deserves a sequel such a intimating amazing form and abilities I have a shin godzilla statue that has little LED'S to make him glow red like he does in the movie its amazing and worth every dam penny 😂
I would love to see shin in the monsterverse and I think he could really work
Maybe a new creature that shares certain characteristics with Shin would be a better fit for the monsterverse.
Well some stuff suggests that they may add shin to the monsterverse, Donno if it was just a fake internet rumor or not
If Shin Godzilla could work in the Monsterverse then we'll have Legendary and Shin in an epic battle then mutual agreements in the time of need
This is really cool :)
Well, what if they used Shin as a sub for Destoroyah or Hedorah?
I love your current theme
I wanna try hellofresh foods 😋
