Great video. Not quite the same but I have been looking at the Matris Steering Damper for a long time now. It is the one I plan to install on my new ZX-6R. Glad to see an installation video
its good at high speeds, idk how fast you have been on your z900, but going over bumps at high speeds or taking curves at 100mph sometimes the handlebars can get shaky.
Great vid bro. Do u know by any chance where u get the brackets to this stabilizer. I was lookin into getting this stabilizer but didnt come with brackets. I have a 08 kawasaki zzr600
No. You only need to drill a hole through the plastic key shroud. I also bought a second Kawasaki plastic key shroud so I can always go back to original if I remove the steering damper.
@ Reynaldo Castro do you know which brand this is? I have a stabilizer and I’m not sure which brackets will work with it so, I’m thinking to just buy this kit that comes with brackets and all.
I have been looking for one too, For the Z900, here it is on AMZ: www.amazon.com/2017-2019-Motorcycle-Accessories-Stabilizer-Adjustable/dp/B08796BYLH/ref=sr_1_20?dchild=1&keywords=2017+kawasaki+z900+steering+damper&qid=1590512424&sr=8-20
I have these on my 2017 z900 and it makes low speed steering very sluggish (under 50kmph). It makes it annoying to go in a straight line. Even at the lowest steering damper setting.
@@erictam666 you only need a steering damper if you go higher than 150 kmph alot, i took mines off because i ride in a busy city and i need the slow speed steering accuracy

Wish he would have shown how and where he cut the ignition cover and what it looked like afterward.
Why?
Its the most stable bike around thst isnt a cruiser.
If youre having trouble with headshake theres something wrong with the bike or your arms.

Idk wym but I ride my z900 hard and it definitely shakes, especially 3rd gear when it’s just barely lifting the front tire
You 'forgot' to show the destroyed fairings that you did under the dampener.
Nice video, could not find instructions anywhere on these guys.

Does all the stock pieces fit back on the bike correctly after installation
dosent it cover some of the display?
What brand damper and bracket did you use ? Is it working well? Thanks
Blocks the gauges, you loose the fairings around the part AND it's not needed...pass on this waste of time and destructionn of my Z900.
