Thank you, George, for this labour of love. "I'm no jazz pianist and I don't even listen to jazz", says Sangah Noona, then a few minutes later plays Gershwin's "A Foggy Day" with great swing feel and tasty chord extensions. Not bebop, but I'm very sure Ms Noona could fill in for many combos, in most jazz styles.
Ms Noonah, this may be off topic, but your livestreams are perfect for bass improvisation practice. Each time you give us such a generous number of beautifully played, varied pieces. I like to go back a few days after enjoying listening to your programme the first time and try playing each piece from your first note, only from your performance with no lead sheet or other prompts. My immediate objective is to match only your time feel, not worrying over much about "right" notes. Only then do I think about what notes best fit, then key signatures, then chords. It's great groove and ear training! What I like best about your live streams for this exercise is the challenge of working out one number, only to have to abandon it as you begin the next. It makes for a tough workout, though in the sense of bicycle training through a lovely countryside, along a quiet, beautifully paved road. I even think I'm improving ;-) Offered for whoever else might find this useful for their own instrument, and don't forget to sometimes put in a paid request for your piano coach! Thank you for doing these.
I love that you started the stream with Fields of Gold. I had to leave the stream early but will be watching this on replay. Thank you for the great music every weekend.
Fields of Gold = Your stream every week.... set the pace for a special evening once again. The thought one could possibly not be present is at least for me excruciating. Yes, that is what happens when you spoil people 😉Thank you for all your efforts to do so. A good nights sleep and a lovely Sunday for you and Bubuji. Hopefully next week again. 🌹💜
Sangah really, really enjoyed the Music and everything else was just a Bonus. Have a great Sunday and Monday off. I hope Bubuji's visit to the Vet is a success and she wears her costume. Don't forget Bubuji Carrots. ❤🎹🎶🎶🐶🥕😎
"Red Roses for a Blue lady." Beautiful performance of my request Sangah. I love it. Sangah and you guys: If you are interested there is a nice performance from Vic Dana in Black/White from 12 years ago on UA-cam. Nice singing and dancing people. On the background a choir (The Ray Conniff Singers I think). ❤
Ms Sangah, you are simply amazing. Thank God for Mum and Dad for bringing you to this beautiful world to put smiles and happiness into people's lives..
Eliya! It was great to see you during this stream. I was thinking of you earlier in the day, because before I made my song request, I was watching Sangah's video for that song, and I read one of your comments. And then, here you were! It felt a little bit magical, so that was my "secret" favorite part of the stream that I left out of my other comment. I thought I was only requesting a song, but I was actually requesting a rare Eliya appearance! If I knew I could do that, I'd try it more often! (Don't tell Sangah, because she thinks that when my favorite moment isn't about her music, there must have been something wrong with her performance. But her music is always wonderful, and all I really mean is that she accomplishes things here that are even bigger than the music.)
What a great last October 2023 live stream! Brilliant performance of all the songs requested by Sangah Force. I really liked Moonlight Serenade, Dust in the Wind, and of course the fantastic November Rain.... Thank you very much Sangah ❤ You are the best! ❤
Wow, what a fun and meaningful night with you and the crew, Sangah! The music was great, your dialogue always fun, and the comments from SF in the chat had an extra boost of pizzazz! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I enjoyed the replay a lot, it was a fantastic livestream, so many wonderful requests, all played so brilliantely 👌😃 The stunningness of the music played was so palpable 👍😊 A super stream 👏👏👏👏👏
@@richardfehlmann4593 😂 I was so happy with the reaction from Sangah and the Force with that word, Richard. It was priceless. I am so glad you caught that part of the livestream. 😁
Thank you for another wonderful Saturday night! I loved your rendition of "Best Part!" You were a wonderful treat after a rough day of feeling sick because I got my flu and corona shots yesterday and had to clean the gutters this afternoon!
Rocktober's in the books. Onto... Bossa Novamber? Anyway, the year's flown by, as they all tend to do now. What have I accomplished? I did meet Sangah. She took one look at me and decided she should stop drinking grape juice and join a gym. Sometimes you have to be scared straight, and I'm glad to be an inspiration. I think that's what happened. Ted might have a different story. Happy Halloween SF! Have a boo-tiful week.
Seemed like a dream meeting up with you & Sangah, Edwin, as if it occurred in another lifetime. 🤔 Also, still recovering emotionally from not getting to meet and pet Mookie. 🐶😢
Sangah, if you just want my favorite musical moment, then it was probably your opening song, Fields of Gold. (I'll bet we see that one again in your video 😉) But I have another favorite moment for more personal reasons, which I think I'm going to keep to myself for now, unless someone posts a comment, or if you're curious. 😊
@@richardfehlmann4593 Thanks, Richard. I got a little bit of a nod, but she's forcing herself not to laugh... I even made sure it was about the music! 😅
