SO refreshing that your video is straight forward and right into the lesson, and it actually felt like a full lesson! that's rare nowadays, as opposed to a promotion with a side of theory
Good day! Very nice presentation. I'm a guitarist who is totally representing Barry Harris. Your approach is very refreshing. You could of gone into the whys, then it would be perfect. I say that cause Barry always explains the whys. Fantastic sound and approach. Thanks man. I will try to catch you again. Stay safe, Bro.
Nice lesson! I like that you went through more than just major triad pairs. You played some super cool tonalities with those augmented and diminished triads.
Caleb, this is another great lesson, especially in the way it has been presented: correct pacing, clarity of thought and explanation, practical examples... Much appreciated! I adore the Organic Real Jazz SOUND-FEEL these "Triad Pairs" reveal - as demonstrated by you. Thanks, Caleb; will be working on same - slowly, little by little, my being a Pop/R'n'B performer; a mere amateur am I, in practice, of Organic (Real) Jazz. Lohvissimo!
Which chords do each set of triad pairs fit over ? What is the math for the harmonic setting? For ex a Ii V or a blues or a I to Vi how do we know when to use which pair?
Hi, is the background a part of an original song that you have recorded...? If so, I would like to hear the entire song. Is there a name of the song and is it in your videos on your UA-cam Channel?
For minor chords you can the I minor chord and the Whole step under the root major chord. For instance A minor would be Amin and Gmaj. For Dom7th chord you can use the same logic so for C7 you can use Cmaj and Bbmaj
Beautiful tone with you man
