I swapped Arms Lore and 20 Tracking for 100 Hiding and I'm really liking it so far. While I know the dps isnt as high without Arms, the ability to hide from a group of reds as opposed to having to flee to the nearest moongate(if you can) is worth it in my opinion. I thought the damage would be too low, but with fire aspect(lvl 3 now) and a mace codex, it's really quite decent. Might not be suitable for a newb without aspect/codex, but def a great intermediate build.

Also, fyi my man if you didn't know, you can change what skill title you have in your paperdoll by locking all of your highest skills and the one you want to show up in your paperdoll make sure the arrow is pointing upwards on that specific skill you want to show.

New to this shard and im wondering what you think of archery instead of macing with this build? Those of us who have been around UO know that the cash cow build is always an archer/prov/peace bard. Im 8 days in and ive macroed the hell out of like 8 characters so far. The only one ive spent any time playing is actually a mule character. The rest are nearly complete, but most are missing one or two main skill theme's. Like, obviously a tamer is missing taming but i have gm lore vet etc. I don't know... this is interesting... is arms lore really that valuable? And at 60? I think is what you had it at? As well as healing?
Supposedly the Chivalry Bard is the good build now. But I still play this build and love it. My mace hits fast and for 400-700 damage on average so its hard to out dps me. Archery DPS is safer but slower. Armslore 80 is a must in order to disarm which increases DPS a ton.
Hello i'm new to Outlands and Ultima Online in general, been reading guides for quite sometime now, i wonder if this build still viable and what aspects and codex would you recommend? And also where should i be farming with this complete template? Can i farm in SSC? (I've been using a scavenger template for 4-5 days now)
To get started I would recommend mausoleum lvl2, aegis keep lvl2, or ossuary lvl2. Macing codex. Lyric aspect or if you want a more versatile aspect go with air, fire, earth or void. This build works great I still use it.
Hello! Also brand new to Ultima (2 weeks old now) I made a bard and have him at 700 points with your end game build, (funding the 20 orbs, skills scrolls, and codex / aspect with my lumberjack) - just wanted to know what the ideal weapon / armor is for the end game build? Also liked someone’s suggestion of using hiding with it as well! :)
Another side note - I’m thinking lyric armor / fire weapon would be best? Also I’m just questioning whether the mace is “war mace” and the style of armor :)
2 handed weapons get a large damage bonus so I prefer to use 2 handers like quarter staff. For armor I go for a mix of chain and plate usually trying to get my AC above 100. Good luck dude!
I'm following your guide and managed to run some dungeons alone and saved a little money. Obviously I can't kill everything but I think i've done well for a starter. Should i try to upgrade my equips or save money for codex/aspects/lyric etc? I'm using a bone armor and a war mace i bought from a npc. Is it OK? What do you recommend? I'm kinda lost, the game isn't very noob friendly lol. Thank you!!
i love your vids and this is such a great template! my question is - what's the strategy for going from the starting build to the end build? like do you use the starting build to get money for pots and stuff so then you can drop healing/anat and switch to discordance? or can you just go straight to the end build? thanks!
The starter build is until you save money to get your skills to 100, and have some extra coin for kegs. Once you find a comfortable farming spot and are taking minimal damage if any at all you can swap to the final build. This build becomes increasingly powerful as you unlock aspect and level it up.
@@trammie Great video! I'm new to the game entirely, I'm just wondering if you had anything that broke what gear/stats I need down down, or if you know where I should go for more information? I appreciate the content, you got a sub out of me!

Hi new to UO Outlands server Great build how are you getting around rune book or just running I don't see camping in your build. as a new player would you recommend 60 camping to get around a bit till I can find a rune book?
After using the first build shown to build up gold should i buy the items needed for 120 music etc or should i buy a lyric suit first? Both are expensive don't know which would be more efficient
A tamer build is probably the best for burning through dungeons and getting gold. There are also some good mage builds for hunting as well. This is just the easiest to get started.
How do you handle PKs? I know you say in the video that Tracking saves you... but you just run away? what if you're deep in a dungeon... you run away and aggro everything that has respawned behind you?
Outlands has gates placed throughout the dungeons to exit from so an escape is never a far run. I carry an adventurers rope to teleport past any energy fields the murderers cast or big groups of mobs that may block me. When running past mobs I use the peace making skill on myself, this momentarily peaces all mobs around me giving me just enough time to pass and they aggro those chasing me.
Yes, the reason for the fire Aspect is because it is a less expensive way to get 2 activation's of Aspect a day. They recently changed the aspect system, when you initially activate an aspect it cost 12 cores and 6 extracts, with this you get 2 activation's a day, which would be 1 for your weapon and 1 for your armor. In order to get an additional 2 activation's each day of the same aspect you already have, you would need another 24 cores and 12 extracts because it cost 12 cores and 6 extracts per additional activation point after the initial 2, which is very expensive. So I activated fire instead so I have 2 fire activation's a day and 2 lyric activation's a day. If this is confusing let me know and we can chat in discord.
you really just need a mace or staff, armor helps if you take hits sometimes but you can go in naked and farm with bard skills Really nice for farming when you're new to the game or want to go in with low risk gear

I use a 1handed weapon because without any healing abilities I rely on potions to heal.
@@trammie thanks for answering but i am confused. Cant you use potion with 2 handed weapon ? Sorry about lame question :/
@@SahalOnur in order to use potions with a 2 handed weapon you must first disarm your weapon before you can drink potions.
hi mate, how do you teleport with no camping n no magery?
blessed runebook
I’m thinking about this build since taming is cut throat after 100 as far as taming snowdrifts
Command set gets expensive also.
Is this still a good template?
still incredible
@@trammie Awesome, I just joined the shard the other day. I went with a similar template.
So, I was running with pwnstars chivalry bard, hated it. tried this template out, love it 10/10 ty trammie
What's the torch your char is holding?
An event rare that you cannot get in game anymore.
discord sound got me fuckt up bruv
hahaha I have learned to turn them sounds off when I record now.
New to Outlands, need to make my first char to make gold. Does this take long to train? I feel like a complete noob
This is a quick and easy build to get gold. A great starter character.
Be sure to train most skills in the new player dungeon to 70. They go up much faster in there.
I JUST MET YOU OUTSIDE HSB!!
You had a cool outfit Air Aspect with Fortune Clothing!
Does it matter what instrument I use?
Not at all, I recommend exceedingly magical instruments they are inexpensive and give a +20 skill bonus to barding skills.
@@trammie Thank you!
where is this dungeon your hunting?
My favorite dungeon for best gold per hour is mausoleum.
@@trammie nice! im finishing the starting template and gonna go that juicy gold!
thanks man!
@@trammie what floor of mausoleum?
@@aguyandhisguitars435 I like the souls in level 3 mausoleum the best. Elder Vampires on level 2 are good also.
@@trammie thanks bud, fire aspect weapon, lyric armor?
nice video!! reaDY for STONKS
Thanks dude, I dabble in the STONKS.
1:16 O'Rly?
Every build is great until the PKs show up LOL
is good this for pvp?
Not at all. This build you need to run from PvP
@@trammie but is possible kill this mobs with iron armor?
@@alexserrano5506 absolutely, armor makes no difference with the mobs peaced they don't fight back.
Are the stats 100 100 25?
100 strength, 100 DeX, 25 int
Man trammies setting you up. This build has no pvp capabilities at all. Also that part of maus is pk heaven. He's just getting you guys to farm for him lolol.
