Interesting. I bought the MPC One Plus 2 weeks ago and I absolutely love it. Different color of course (red as opposed to black) but I'm getting used to the button layout and I'm having a blast.
For sure, I liked the MPC One. There was a particular way I was working with samples and loops that was really easy to work with on the One. But as I mentioned, the case was drawback, and what I am working on at the moment just doesn't have a lot of application for that environment. So it was just sitting there. If I just want to chop up some beats for playing along to, I'm really familiar with the MPC1k-JJOS, so for the time being it's working for me.

Ah... I got them on Amazon like 10 years ago. On-Stage Keyboard Stand. But the boards I cut, painted and coated in polyurethane myself.
