@@ironbomb6753 Yep, this is what many forget when they say "Oh, you have to buy a printer though, how is that saving money?" Like, you could buy a new printer for each Warlord and STILL save.

Original sculpts let's gooo! The sheer amount of creativity and talent in the alternate/proxy sculpt scene is 100% worth celebrating. Looking forward to seeing a fully complete Kaliakos Anathema Construct! I'm gonna be making one too at some point but after that last titan I need a breather. Hi Sam, Stick in there mate sometimes 3D printing can be really frustrating. I have picked up a habbit of "Quick Wins" when i'm getting frustrated or uninsprired with a project (Printing or painting). Take a step back. Print and paint something that has nothing to do with what your working on that is just for you and is fun and quick and then come back to. I get taht that doesn't work (or is practical) to everyone but it works for me and give me that little boost to get back into it.
Don’t let the fails get you down boss. I’ve printed 3 warlords, 9 knights variants, and 15 armigers. I’ve had prints fail cause I let me print room get too cold. Lessons learned mang.
Ah my dude take your time with it. Making sure it's done right is important but more importantly make sure you're not burning yourself out. You got this 👍
Don't give up!!!!! Can't wait to see this project completed. I'm printing a warhound titan right now. People that don't 3d print have no idea how much work is entailed. If you need help with supports, let me know. I can definitely give you a hand if needed.
Dont give up on your prints! It sucks but it's so worth it on the large scale. In terms of the solwyte warlord titan. I'm working on one myself. It's a pretty decent build. There are a few issues here and there that I've stumbled across but overall really good.
@@battlebrothersam so far I've only made the legs and there was a fitment issue with one of the hydraulic cylinder pieces. I let the creator know what I found and I believe she said she is updating the model. There is also some issues with the feet just not being very strong due to the design and the way they are supported but can easily fixed with additional supports of like armature wire or screws etc etc.
You could try splitting the plate up and just printing a few pre-supported parts at a time. Could be that most of them are fine, and it's just a couple on that plate (or the way some of them are arranged together on the plate) that are causing an issue that's ruining everything. Also, if the failure is purely parts tearing off their supports, then before manually supporting or auto-supporting, I'd try just beefing up the tips of the existing pre-supports. And/or bumping exposure a little. That could be enough to give them the strength to hold on. They might leave behind more surface damage when you remove them, but personally I'd rather spend some time filing and sanding versus cleaning up repeated print fails.
Hang in there brother. I look forward to your videos every week to see what you make next. Then its off to see if I can produce the results myself. Working on Lost Ships at the moment. Wouldn't have pulled the trigger if it wasn't for your video. Best of luck in future prints.
I recently started my own titan builds. Half done with the first warlord and I got another I wanna do after that. Super excited to see your finished project. Don't let the print fails get to you. I had a few times where I just had to reduce the over all items on the bed and then add supports by hand with the extra space. Generally speaking lychee has been very good to me with just auto supports before I feed the file to Chitu.
Mate I have just got into Adeptus Titanicus, and its brilliant, talking to a guy in GW he said his frind ONLY runs squads of Knights, after a couple of games, I can see how you could literally overrun an enemy!
Love the videos! I printed a resin warlord psi titan last year and, if you're using the files that everyone uses for warlords, be aware that the torso and shoulders are DIFFICULT and you may need to sand or cut them to fit together well. If you're going to paint, do all the armor panels after you paint the body, as it gets hilariously difficult afterwards to put details on a 2' tall 12 kg model
If you're suffering from support failure after multiple reworks of your supports, islands etc, try dropping the lift speed. Especially with these big prints. You already seem to have some ginormously dense supports on, dropping the lift speed will reduce the maximum peeling force when lifting by spreading the work over a longer time instead.
Yes to knights! I’ve got 6 war dogs printed for my Chaos Knights army. Still working on the Abominant (plenty of fails in a row), and I’ve taken a bit of a break from it.
I'm happy to see that someone else had the amazing idea to do the same thing, I printed a warlord titan as my starting point. I planned on printing 4 warhound titans unfortunately do to work and lack of motivation I stopped. But after watching you're video you motivated and inspired me to finish it and print up a chaos titan army to go up against it. Not sure what chaos God to choose tho.

To your question posed around the 2m15sec yes you should print all the imperial titans as well it would be very interesting to see what you do with them
Welcome to the Legio my friend! Got mine printed at the beginning of the year. Highly reccomend jbkwik and cue tips for assembly. Havent needed to pin my warlord using that stuff. Good luck brother!
@battlebrothersam no problem! I have the same files for the reaver too, but I didn't have your problems printing the legs. I'm happy to supply them if necessary to help!
I can't wait for the rest of the Solwyte studio war constructs to come out. I have used some of them for narrative games before. If you make them stupid strong it makes for a good casual game.
Keep on printing, you will get there. Heavy Supports are the way forward, but you still need to look at the orientation to make sure the suction isn't too much. The other thing is that if you haven't hollowed the body section then you will have a LOT of weight on the knee joints so consider pinning them. This is even more important with the Warlord, which is why some people use FDM for the legs and resin for the armour. I made a hole through them and inserted a metal rod. Finally, yes, to imperial knights.
Brother, If you're going to run a channel on 3d printing, please actually learn how to support files. It isn't rocket science. I really like the results and could watch a video on just that, since many people, myself included, find painting large vehicles/titans difficult.
