This band is amazing live, every time. Jen Ledger joined the band right around her 16th birthday. She is amazing. People don’t realize how hard it is to drum and sing at the same time.
Seen them twice now. First time in I went in "blind"; I'm not a metal fan, I'd never heard of them, I'd never heard their music. 3 songs in I was sold and bought four albums when I got home. I am a musician, college music theory trained, with an extremely good ear and I'm picky. They won me over with an "evolved" metal sound and wonderfully positive lyrics.
She auditioned at 17 and got the job at 18. Jen tried to sabatoge herself, John didn't have high hopes before the audition, and he said in an interview that he would have never asked her to audition had he knew how old she was at that time.
Their song Monster made the secular rock billboard. That was a while ago. My sister in law was only 2.5 when it came out. Singing along running in circles even mimicking the vocal changes
I had the extreme pleasure os seeing them in concert in Salt Lake City in Aug 2019. They are incredible live and worth every penny I spent. Once concerts get going again and they have one again near me I will be going again. I am a huge Panhead.
I had the pleasure of seeing them in Atlanta recently. I had always been a Jen fan, but I now have a whole new level of appreciation for her. Seeing her go at those drums, while singing at the same time, and without missing a beat...was absolutely amazing. And Kory and Seth don't get nowhere near enough credit for what they bring to this group. Kory didn't stop moving the entire time she was out there. And Seth can keep up with the best of them when it comes to a guitar. This whole band is amazing to watch, and will definitely be in the crowd the next time they come through town.
Don I couldn't agree more! Especially love Jen on and off the stage! It was a pleasure to play play Creation fest last year. They were the headliner. I got to see Jens new band too! shes doing double time!
I met them when they came to minnesota last october got to hug every single one of them it was definitely one of my most cherished moments in my life! They are such down to earth people and oh yeah the show rocked!
Man, come on. She's good but that song is a 4/4 simple rock beat all the time. Im not saying she can't play more than that but that song wasn't the best example.
GabyDv I’m talking about the fact that it is a simple drum pattern but her passion is like no other drummer, no drummer would put that much energy and passion in such a simple drum beat, And her metal stuff is prolly better then the drummer know
Skillet is awesome John Cooper lead singer/Bass guitar, Korey Cooper, John Cooper's wife, Keyboards/Rhythm Guitar/Backup Vocals, Seth Morrison lead guitar, Jennifer Ledger Backup Vocals/Drummer
ok I will check it out. I don't think I know that one!...subscribe if u haven't already so u can see me do that one. I will try next week to do it. got a busy weekend! thank u!
Very electronic and proggy if you like that kinda stuff. I personally prefer their "headbanging celo"/violin songs - comatose, not gonna die, victorious, collide..
@@TheWolfHunterZ The title of the track she meant is actually "Rebirth". And btw Eluveitie is pronounced like Elveighty :-) (just like the number 80 at the end)
Or just listen to more skillet, they have plenty headbanging classical instrument songs. - comatose, rebirthing, victorious, not gonna die ... etc etc..
They're on fire for Jesus Christ, you want it to be dark and gloomy? Kind of a weird response! They are Christians and full of the joy of knowing Jesus!

Jen Ledger(drums) isa BEAST...and still has the energy to sing like that. Good ole’ Wisconsin girl
Not really. She is from the UK.
Haha. Did they move Wisconsin to the UK? She’s British.
One of my favorite drummers and nailing vocals with it
Their concerts are the most amazing experience! Jen is ridiculous and joined the band when she was 19 I think? She's crazy talented

@@El_Gordo_Chechy Yeah but try playing that "simple rock beat" while singing
I Fuckin Love Skillet Exactly. Usually Their Passion FOR Music Absolutely. Of Course

Like headbanging classical instrument players? Try Eluveitie - Reborn Theres a hurdy gurdy headbanger ;)
I haven't heard of this one! Sounds like you are really informed about all this. Im thankful for your comments!!!!!!

But I’m confused to why he reacted to the live show but not the music video
Jen Ledger is a killer drummer and vocalist. Your audio and video are out of sync.
I’m not feeling this song at all. This is definitely not my kind of music. It sounds way to happy crappy.
