I agree with Hassan with regard to Fawad Khan. Fawad khan started out well in Pakistani dramas. His roles in dastaan, humsafar and zindagi gulzar hai made him a superstar and gave him iconic status in Pakistan. It was these dramas that took him to India, but the moment he landed in India, he started to think of himself above and beyond Pakistan. He did a forgettable role in a movie with Sonam kapoor. He had a prominent role in a film with Alia Bhatt and siddhart and then a guest appearance in a karan johar movie. What else is there? After that he was banned to work in India. Then he did the magnanimous role in Maula jatt. So all the prominent work he has done and all the popularity he has gained is through his Pakistani projects. He is an A lister in Pakistan but banned in India currently. I still remember the hue and cry in India when Ai Dil hai mushkil’s release became a national crisis in India because fawad khan was in it and Karan Johar had to literally beg Indians to let it get released because it had so much hard work put in by Indians. I don’t understand Fawad Khan’s obsession with India. He could have taken Pakistani film and drama industry to another level by working in Pakistan. But he chooses to do a low grade movie with a D list Vaani Kapoor. This is called an inferiority complex and nothing else. Other Pakistan actors also worked in India. Saba Qamar, Sajal, Mahira khan, Javed Sheikh, Humayun Saeed. But they did not let it get to their head. They have continued to work dedicatedly in Pakistani projects. But Mr Fawad Khan considers it BENEATH him to work in Pakistan. I call that loser mentality.
Thank you for saying what I have wanted to say for a long time. Amna has stars in her eyes about Fawad. There have been better actors in Pakistan , but Fawad got popularity due to his charisma. Yes, he's talented, but as I said, he's not the best in pakistan. Even in Moula Jutt, Hamza Ali Abbasi stole the show. His worth in India has been a couple of third class roles and being a crush of karan Johar 🤢. He should have invested his time and energy in improving Pakistani film industry. I don't even want to mention the pile of 💩 that was Barzakh.

It's maybe a harsh truth but people in india have forgotten fawad khan, he now needs to rebuild himself in fawad and kind of a new comer in India why people are expecting A lister to work with him. Regarding Fawad Khan, his desperation to make it big in Bollywood and him looking down upon Pakistani projects is not a hidden fact. Its not about debating whether Vani is big enough for our 'superstar'....as far as I can fathom from the comments made by Indians, she is a good actress who has worked with A-listers. The point here is Fawad Khan should not be given that much attention on Pakistani platforms like Something Haute. He's lost the respect and the superstar image of millions of Pakistanis with his indifference (or should I say arrogance) regarding the country that gave him his initial bout of fame. As for his movie with Vaani, I am envisaging an 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' fiasco again. I have my greatest sympathies with the makers of this movie who have taken a huge risk casting Fawad Khan, given the political cold war between the two countries as well as his own lukewarm (close to nonexistent) popularity in India. As for Pakistanis, I think we should stop giving Fawad attention or coverage because frankly speaking (kisi ko buraa lagay ya bhalaa), he's not worth it!

Hassan, you need to stop living in delusion. Fawad might be big in pakistan but he can't be compared with Indian stars on a global level. Even Vicky Kaushal is 10x bigger star than Fawad Khan in terms of box office. Vaani and Fawad are on the same level

I think, Allah makes scholars commit mistakes, other wise we would start worshipping them if they become perfect. All humans, no matter how learned, are imperfect , only Prophet Muhammad ( SAW) was perfect. So despite mistakes, we have to acknowledge that dr. Zakir Naiq has immense knowledge and many non Muslims have converted to Islam due to him.

The guy made some really bizarre statements that are highly questionable and mostly as Amna pointed out, agains't women in general. His thoughts have become more radical by the time and so is his demeanor. It’s crucial to critically analyze such perspectives instead of glorifying them, especially when they can perpetuate negative stereotypes or radical views. I have noticed Zakir Naik is respectful in all his lectures and Q&A which are not in Pakistan. I don’t know why but I think his Indian side came out and he thought he has to insult Pakistan being an Indian. Just like when Javed Akhtar came, he HAD to say disrespectful things about Pakistan to be accepted in India, this is my opinion and observations, I can get wrong, but this side of ZN is not in character with his previous QA sessions.

I have a problem with Fawad Khan as one of our biggest stars, rarely working in Pakistan and working on average projects when made in India. If I'm not wrong, he only did films in Pakistan after Pakistani artists got banned in India. We can't rarely speak about how the film is going to be, but it is a rom com with not very known people working in it. I hope that the script has something that attracted him but if he did it just for doing an Indian film then I'm not very happy about it.
I am skeptical about Fawad's movie , bollywood is not producing as quality content as it used to back in the day like kapoor and sons and khoobsurat were fun . Besides Indian Pakistan tensions are also high. Diljit was getting hate for bringing hania on stage . Although he still has some Indian fans which are happy for the announcement but with social media things can turn dirty in a second And Pakistanis are also turning on Fawad after barzakh and how he doesn't give interviews to Pakistani media and is always more inclined towards bollywood. They won't release it in India, so it doesn't matter what we think of Fawad or Vani, but then why India is not allowing Fawad Khan's movie in India raises red flags. The Legend of Maula Jatt, which Zee TV bought two years ago, got banned in India twice, after advertisements and getting a date of release in Indian cinemas. This is a planned strategy to spread annoyance among those who were planning to watch it. The 2md strategy was to stop Pakistan from releasing it in China and on OTT because until it is released in India, Pakistan can't sell it to others. Meanwhile, India has made 3 movies ( north and south) with similar scenes and background music. With this movie or OTT show with Fawad, they are trying to gain back overseas Pakistani audiences by selling their shows and movie tickets to Pakistanis. The 3rd strategy is to monopolize Pakistani cinemas for Indian movies and destroy the local industry. These so-called Punjabi movies made in the UK are also financed by Bollywood. These movies are released overseas and in Pakistan, BUT Pakistani movies are not allowed in India. It's like killing 3 birds with one shot. Many don't know that the Cinema chain in Pakistan that boycotted The Legend of Maulla Jatt for a month is also owned by Indian investors. They tried their best to destroy the movie in Pakistan.
SRK worked with many newcommers who weren't famous ,so i think its okay to Fawad to work with Vani, in comparison to those new commers, Vani has worked with some bigger names of bollywood, duuno why ppl have an issue with it.😊

So MK, Hania, Ahmed Akbar, or others when they speak in English, it's not exaggerated, that's how many speak in Pakistan.

You need to understand the sentiments attached with Fawad Khan . He is one of our only superstars much like a stature of Srk for you guys. But in the last few years he doesn't work in our industry dramas specifically which gave him fame, respect and following. He has been keeping really low profile, not giving interviews , not appearing in other shows and commercials which is understandable because he likes to live in privacy. But in the meantime we saw his interviews with small UA-cam channels in India while refusing to give interviews here. Its fine if he doesn't want to work in drama he can work in our movies (which I understand is not that big) but many of our stars are taking the risks to produce and support our movie industry. Take Fahad Mustafa for example. Even Mahira has been apart of some of the movies. While people are yearning for him to work in our industry ( which I feel he has a responsibility towards , it is the industry which gave him name and fame) he should be giving back to it. Imagine Srk muss ng from your industry with no appearance at all. The charm and support for the industry would disappear right. He is that big for us But no he likes to work in Bollywood with an actress ( sorry she is not that famous and celebrated) is kinda hurting for us. But I guess Fawad usually goes for scripts which has some substance and I guess that's the reason he said yes to this. Good luck to him, but I feel he should value us too meanwhile.

I know this is little harsh but Fawad got all the media attention just because of Karan Johar . I am not denying that he is a good actor but he is too reserved for choosing new roles. Now these days we have fahad Mustafa who is new sensation also he is on television to connect with audience. Fawad is not in the scene till maula jatt. He really need to do something for both countries if he wants to get cherished again.

Most people in India won't be familiar with the director and producer of Fawad's upcoming movie. But a lot has changed since the Pulwama attack, and it doesn't seem like Indo-Pak relations are going to get better anytime soon. You guys saw how certain political parties tried to stop Maula Jutt's screening. So Fawad may have worked with top stars like Sonam, Anushka, and Alia and directors like Karan Johar in the past, but they would not be willing to work with him anymore because of fear for their own reputation. You can't expect Dharma or YRF to sign Fawad because it will only cause controversies and backlash since the majority of the Indian audience aren't accepting of Pakistani stars.
Whilst I understand the frustration of us Pakistanis regarding Fawad Khan’s enthusiasm for work in Bollywood, if we look at the entire scenario objectively it isn’t that big of a deal. Fawad is a smart guy and understands that working in Bollywood will provide him more money and fame so why shouldn’t he work there? Secondly the Pakistani viewers didn’t “give him stardom” per se! We didn’t stand at a ballot centre casting votes for Fawad to be the next superstar! He has charisma and chose projects that we liked hence his popularity. Hassan’s view is emotively justified (for his love for Fawad) but not logically valid. Fawad’s major movies in India were multi star cast movies. He doesn’t have a proven track record that he can fill theatres across India on his own.
The fact is most of her recent releases have been flops or she just had a flower pot role. YRF have been pushing her into big projects but she still hasn’t broken through as a Alist actor.I have concerns over acting since after her cosmetic procedure she got before the release of befikre I think , she can’t even emote. If this is a romantic movie , that means possibly both of them will have equal screen time. I hope she proves all of wrong and the movie is amazing.

So glad Khushhal Khan did not proceed with Farrar. If he was suppose to play the role of Danyal Zafar then it would have been a bad choice for him to play a typical stereotypical Phatan/Pakhtoon. Abir Gulaal are synonymous names given to dry colours used by people playing Holi. Abir is a masculine name, Gulaal is feminine. And I would like to add here that Fawad's previous films with Alia or Sonam were made so that they could be the focus of the story and Fawad's character supporting them. He shone INSPITE of the A-list actresses and not because of them. Even the directors of the films were relatively unknown before their movies with Fawad released. Forget Fawad, think Ali Zafar, who debuted in India with a director's first film and no heroine in it. It all depends on the story and how it is made. Even when it comes to the female actors, Mawra's role became a cult classice with a new actor and Sajal's movie with Sridevi was forgotten so soon. I think it's very judgemental to assume that Fawad is not doing a good project just because of the names linked with it. A movie with a lesser known albeit talented actress and a new director is not at all derogatory, it's very promising. Vani has done good work in the past and may not be an A lister but is very well known.
I agree with Hassan with regard to Fawad Khan. Fawad khan started out well in Pakistani dramas. His roles in dastaan, humsafar and zindagi gulzar hai made him a superstar and gave him iconic status in Pakistan. It was these dramas that took him to India, but the moment he landed in India, he started to think of himself above and beyond Pakistan. He did a forgettable role in a movie with Sonam kapoor. He had a prominent role in a film with Alia Bhatt and siddhart and then a guest appearance in a karan johar movie. What else is there? After that he was banned to work in India. Then he did the magnanimous role in Maula jatt. So all the prominent work he has done and all the popularity he has gained is through his Pakistani projects. He is an A lister in Pakistan but banned in India currently. I still remember the hue and cry in India when Ai Dil hai mushkil’s release became a national crisis in India because fawad khan was in it and Karan Johar had to literally beg Indians to let it get released because it had so much hard work put in by Indians. I don’t understand Fawad Khan’s obsession with India. He could have taken Pakistani film and drama industry to another level by working in Pakistan. But he chooses to do a low grade movie with a D list Vaani Kapoor. This is called an inferiority complex and nothing else. Other Pakistan actors also worked in India. Saba Qamar, Sajal, Mahira khan, Javed Sheikh, Humayun Saeed. But they did not let it get to their head. They have continued to work dedicatedly in Pakistani projects. Yes, he's talented, but as I said, he's not the best in pakistan. Even in Moula Jutt, Hamza Ali Abbasi stole the show.

Regarding Fawad Khan, his desperation to make it big in Bollywood and him looking down upon Pakistani projects is not a hidden fact. Its not about debating whether Vani is big enough for our 'superstar'....as far as I can fathom from the comments made by Indians, she is a good actress who has worked with A-listers. The point here is Fawad Khan should not be given that much attention on Pakistani platforms like Something Haute. He's lost the respect and the superstar image of millions of Pakistanis with his indifference (or should I say arrogance) regarding the country that gave him his initial bout of fame. As for his movie with Vaani, I am envisaging an 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' fiasco again. I have my greatest sympathies with the makers of this movie who have taken a huge risk casting Fawad Khan, given the political cold war between the two countries as well as his own lukewarm (close to nonexistent) popularity in India.

Hassan, you need to stop living in delusion. Fawad might be big in pakistan but he can't be compared with Indian stars on a global level. Even Vicky Kaushal is 10x bigger star than Fawad Khan in terms of box office. Vaani and Fawad are on the same level

He could do alot better in Pakistani dramas or movies because he is respected and adored here but he is not ready to do good projects here but is doing bad projects in India. Yes, I agree that we were hurt as Pakistanis by Dr. Zakir Naiq ‘s statement on PIA duty. I think, Allah makes scholars commit mistakes, other wise we would start worshipping them if they become perfect. All humans, no matter how learned, are imperfect , only Prophet Muhammad ( SAW) was perfect. So despite mistakes, we have to acknowledge that dr. Zakir Naiq has immense knowledge and many non Muslims have converted to Islam due to him.

She is not an A-lister nor a popular face. How would Indians feel if Ranbir or Shah Rukh go and pick a random script with the most forgettable face in Hollywood? For many in Pakistan, FK is the biggest superstar Pakistan has ever produced. And this is something beyond Vaani Kapoor. Pakistanis are disappointed with his subpar film choices. He doesn't work in Pakistan much, and then goes and picks a random script. Maybe the script is good, time will tell, but at the moment, his choices do not match his calibre. Pakistanis were looking forward to his release 'Neelofar; with MK. There has been no update on that. That said, FK should considered himself lucky that despite being out of the sight in PK, he garners so much love. The guy made some really bizarre statements that are highly questionable and mostly as Amna pointed out, agains't women in general. His thoughts have become more radical by the time and so is his demeanor. It’s crucial to critically analyze such perspectives instead of glorifying them, especially when they can perpetuate negative stereotypes or radical views. I felt Amna had a lot to say on this and wanted to disagree with Hassan but she was reluctant and hesitant. You should have voiced them out.

I have a problem with Fawad Khan as one of our biggest stars, rarely working in Pakistan and working on average projects when made in India. If I'm not wrong, he only did films in Pakistan after Pakistani artists got banned in India. We can't rarely speak about how the film is going to be, but it is a rom com with not very known people working in it. I hope that the script has something that attracted him but if he did it just for doing an Indian film then I'm not very happy about it.

The Legend of Maula Jatt, which Zee TV bought two years ago, got banned in India twice, after advertisements and getting a date of release in Indian cinemas. This is a planned strategy to spread annoyance among those who were planning to watch it. The 2md strategy was to stop Pakistan from releasing it in China and on OTT because until it is released in India, Pakistan can't sell it to others. Meanwhile, India has made 3 movies ( north and south) with similar scenes and background music. With this movie or OTT show with Fawad, they are trying to gain back overseas Pakistani audiences by selling their shows and movie tickets to Pakistanis. The 3rd strategy is to monopolize Pakistani cinemas for Indian movies and destroy the local industry. These so-called Punjabi movies made in the UK are also financed by Bollywood. These movies are released overseas and in Pakistan, BUT Pakistani movies are not allowed in India. It's like killing 3 birds with one shot. Many don't know that the Cinema chain in Pakistan that boycotted The Legend of Maulla Jatt for a month is also owned by Indian investors. They tried their best to destroy the movie in Pakistan.
SRK worked with many newcommers who weren't famous ,so i think its okay to Fawad to work with Vani, in comparison to those new commers, Vani has worked with some bigger names of bollywood, duuno why ppl have an issue with it.😊

@@keertishetty237 I think some accents are indeed exaggerated. That said, Pakistanis from affluent background, especially from KHI, and Islamabad usually do not have thick accents. So MK, Hania, Ahmed Akbar, or others when they speak in English, it's not exaggerated, that's how many speak in Pakistan.

You need to understand the sentiments attached with Fawad Khan . He is one of our only superstars much like a stature of Srk for you guys. But in the last few years he doesn't work in our industry dramas specifically which gave him fame, respect and following. He has been keeping really low profile, not giving interviews , not appearing in other shows and commercials which is understandable because he likes to live in privacy. But in the meantime we saw his interviews with small UA-cam channels in India while refusing to give interviews here. Its fine if he doesn't want to work in drama he can work in our movies (which I understand is not that big) but many of our stars are taking the risks to produce and support our movie industry. Take Fahad Mustafa for example. Even Mahira has been apart of some of the movies. While people are yearning for him to work in our industry ( which I feel he has a responsibility towards , it is the industry which gave him name and fame) he should be giving back to it. Imagine Srk muss ng from your industry with no appearance at all. The charm and support for the industry would disappear right. He is that big for us

We live in a global community today where universal law prevails. Polygamy is is a crime & all nations & religions of the world accept this to be illegal according to my understanding. Hassan has surprised me by saying Islam propagates one marriage when in reality Islam accepts men to marry four wives at the same time. So polygamy is acceptable.I say this with great humility Hassan that you may need to further research into this subject. Also all women may not want to get married specially not forced marriages. I know this is little harsh but Fawad got all the media attention just because of Karan Johar . I am not denying that he is a good actor but he is too reserved for choosing new roles. Now these days we have fahad Mustafa who is new sensation also he is on television to connect with audience. Fawad is not in the scene till maula jatt. He really need to do something for both countries if he wants to get cherished again.

Most people in India won't be familiar with the director and producer of Fawad's upcoming movie. But a lot has changed since the Pulwama attack, and it doesn't seem like Indo-Pak relations are going to get better anytime soon. You guys saw how certain political parties tried to stop Maula Jutt's screening. So Fawad may have worked with top stars like Sonam, Anushka, and Alia and directors like Karan Johar in the past, but they would not be willing to work with him anymore because of fear for their own reputation. You can't expect Dharma or YRF to sign Fawad because it will only cause controversies and backlash since the majority of the Indian audience aren't accepting of Pakistani stars.

Whilst I understand the frustration of us Pakistanis regarding Fawad Khan’s enthusiasm for work in Bollywood, if we look at the entire scenario objectively it isn’t that big of a deal.
Fawad is a smart guy and understands that working in Bollywood will provide him more money and fame so why shouldn’t he work there?
Secondly the Pakistani viewers didn’t “give him stardom” per se! We didn’t stand at a ballot centre casting votes for Fawad to be the next superstar! He has charisma and chose projects that we liked hence his popularity.
There wouldn’t be any uproar if Fawad was instead working in Hollywood! In fact we would be celebrating it. Yet when it comes to Bollywood, there is a big hoo haa! Fawad’s major movies in India were multi star cast movies. He doesn’t have a proven track record that he can fill theatres across India on his own.
The fact is most of her recent releases have been flops or she just had a flower pot role. YRF have been pushing her into big projects but she still hasn’t broken through as a Alist actor.I have concerns over acting since after her cosmetic procedure she got before the release of befikre I think , she can’t even emote. If this is a romantic movie , that means possibly both of them will have equal screen time. I hope she proves all of wrong and the movie is amazing.

So glad Khushhal Khan did not proceed with Farrar. If he was suppose to play the role of Danyal Zafar then it would have been a bad choice for him to play a typical stereotypical Phatan/Pakhtoon. Abir Gulaal are synonymous names given to dry colours used by people playing Holi. Abir is a masculine name, Gulaal is feminine. And I would like to add here that Fawad's previous films with Alia or Sonam were made so that they could be the focus of the story and Fawad's character supporting them. He shone INSPITE of the A-list actresses and not because of them. Even the directors of the films were relatively unknown before their movies with Fawad released. Forget Fawad, think Ali Zafar, who debuted in India with a director's first film and no heroine in it. It all depends on the story and how it is made. Even when it comes to the female actors, Mawra's role became a cult classice with a new actor and Sajal's movie with Sridevi was forgotten so soon.
I think it's very judgemental to assume that Fawad is not doing a good project just because of the names linked with it. A movie with a lesser known albeit talented actress and a new director is not at all derogatory, it's very promising. Vani has done good work in the past and may not be an A lister but is very well known.
