    great video. next time you do it again, please film the BEFORE in the same lighting as the after. it was hard to see if laugh lines really faded because the 2nd AFTER results were in much brighter light and before had harsher shadows

    Is there any risk of hyperpigmentation for melasma

  • @vannavanity1195
    @vannavanity1195 3 роки тому +1

    Thank you for that! I have a lot of hyperpigmentation since I have always hated sun screen, as it can get in my eye. I also used to smoke cigarettes chronically until a few months ago. So I've had Picosure done 3x (last session on Monday had my whole face beet purple and it was funny how concerned people at Dunkin Donuts were when my fiance took me there after the operation, so they thought he was beating me lol, and he had no idea that that was why they were giving him a dirty look lol).
    Anyway, the surgeon told me after the treatment that the next time I come in will require either another Picosure or microneedling. The Picosure was the most painful thing ever besides a tooth ache from 4 years ago.

      same thing pretty much!
      Dermapen is like a pen and it has needles. A micro needling tool is more like a roller. People say the derma pen is better because it goes straight down into the skin instead of the roller, that can scratch the skin while rolling

      Lizeth Pena , yes same aftercare as before. I’m pretty obsessive when it comes to my aftercare. Clean linens, clean towel every time for face. No makeup until I’m completely healed, NO sunlight at all. I wear sunscreen every single day that I’m going outdoors, even if it’s raining, lol. Not sure why my face reacted this time. Not a derma roll they use a needle that goes into the skin over and over again in areas treated.

    I got my first Micro needling session done on Friday, its now 2 days later and my face feels very dry. I am also having a lot of visible peeling and its gonna suck when I go back to work tomorrow. All I can do is try keep it clean and hydrated, I have no choice but to follow through because whats done is done I just hope its all worth it.

      @@duadua6011 Yes, in fact I do it twice or three times a year. I have done it on my face only but next time I plan to do it on my neck too. You just gotta be careful with the needle size, I used 0.5 but since I'm a guy my type of skin is thicker so 1 works for me and I have to pass it over and over to get results. For women I guess .25 or .5 is good. Your skin will look flawless after 4 weeks.

      I am so upset, I followed a strict protocol and only microneedled at .o5 with a 36 pin cartridge using a stamping technique and now I have more pores than ever and they are larger. This stinks, I have only done this once. I don’t know what it will cost to fix my face. Beware that this is no miracle treatment and things can go wrong. I have contacted Dr. Pen for advice….ugh

      they say you should do this once a month. Your skin needs time to heal. But people also do this to help stimulate collagen production in the skin as well as help heal acne scarring. It is not recommended for active acne.

      If you are going in deep, where it makes your skin bleed then once a month. If you are doing it lightly, you can probably do It once a week. You will notice how your face heals so wait for it to heal before you do it again.

    It sounds like your aesthetician did not use any numbing cream before doing your micro needling. You should also have done a strong regimen of hydration. Almond oil is good, or refined vitamin e oil or grapeseed or rose hip oil...and your skin will drink it in and want many applications of the oil on your face. Hyaluronic acid is good but not moisturizing enough remember your skin is damaged and doing it's thing to heal. You are young, your skin will heal no problem w/o super care, so you are blessed in that way.

    • @PaulinaAllure
      @PaulinaAllure  5 років тому

      I am not sure but it definitely more than 1mm. You would have to consult your esthetician. But it is definitely more than what you can do at home.

    • @klyn9966
      @klyn9966 5 років тому +1

      I was told by law, an esthetician can’t go as deep as a doctor. So probably not that deep plus there was barely any redness after her procedure. Mine was bright red right after and still bright pink day 2 with about 4-5 days downtime because of the peeling and itching.
