@usmankakka Slavery means one human 'owning' another human as a 'property'. The slave has got no human rights, since it's a property. Just think of how you deal with your dog, and the same applies to a slave. Being a prisoner means your freedom is restricted. But your human rights aren't violated. You're still treated as a human. Geneva convention also makes sure of that. If the prisoner is a vegetarian, give that. If they're following a diet, give that. Has some exercise requirements, provide that. Medications, sure. What about Islam? The slave has to eat whatever the master gives. There's no choice. Owners can make them marry. They have no choice. And even the child of a slave is also a slave. (There's an exception when the master is the father, then the child is free). Basil won't speak of this. Basil clearly knows all of these in Islam, which is why he goes to Geneva convention and accusing atheists etc, instead of talking about what actually happens in Islam. It's true that there're some practices in Islam that frees slaves. These were from the early days of Islam, when the majority of the people who came to follow Islam were slaves.
