Does having the electric tailgate retrofitted void the manufacturer warranty? Is it Skoda approved? Plus how much does it cost? I've got one on order but prioritised other features over the electric tailgate.

Thank you for getting in touch!
We are an authorised independent workshop for the VAG Group. All products that we supply and install are genuine Skoda parts and will operate as per factory spec.
We do not supply and install cheap aftermarket parts.
Here is the link to the product in question, however the remote close function (which is not a factory feature but more of unlock procedure) is currently not available and undergoing more testing.
