In the deep South it's called "haint blue" - keeps the spirits away.
Wiki: "The use of haint blue has lost some of its superstitious significance, but modern proponents also cite the color as a spider and wasp-deterrent. However, the color has not actually been scientifically shown to stave off bugs. The associated repellent effect may stem from the use of milk paint containing lye, which does act as an insect repellent."

In west philly, it is believed the Amish painted blue porche ceilings here because it meant good luck.
The paint once contained lye which detracted insects. The blue hue continues to be mistaken for the reason why bugs are deterred.
Oh man classic eversource. Everyone from king to pauper is living on eversources time lololol

No caulking. Flashed with lead, but also continuous rain screen behind it
why are the erv intake and exhaust so close to each other? is it a separate unit, or hooked up to the ducts?
They’re spaced the required distance apart per manufacturer. Tied into duct work
