Amazing work as usual! How do you paint those deep moulding cuts?... Especially the horizontal ones? I mean, paint wants to accumulate in such slots. Are you using some special tools, technique, additives? Thanks
I see they spray all of them for that reason. If the spray is done very thin and light it would help alleviate that problem. But you are so right, mostly those would be full of goopy marks on other builds. Though man, wouldn't it be good to be working out of that green office as we write this?
@@wesrobinson7366 Haha, not a big fan of that color but the quality of the finish is swiss-watch like. I'm actually looking to have my mouldings redone and love the deep cuts but no way I want to spray them. Not only because it requires more work/tools/experience but also because touch-ups as years go by will be very visible.
Nick I was curious how detailed your drawings are and if the team every has to make field decisions regarding any specific details not clearly stated within the drawings. I was a super for a production builder. Albeit the jobs were far from this complex, a lot of time myself and the trade partners had to make best assumptions how the architecture expected certain details to turn out.
Love Brent Hull! That color is fantastic! Very rich, quality feel. My eye is struggling to find what unifies the space. The fireplace box, the windows, and built in looks like they all land at different heights. It could be the camera angles. Would the built ins be the implied chair rail height proportionally?
Absolutely beautiful design and build, I love the cathedral doors on the storage cabinet. I’ve been watching Brent Hull’s channel too, he is incredibly knowledgeable especially with his recent videos on trim details. I’d be interested to see the green room with the owner’s furnishings, it might change my initial reaction to the color. I like a monochrome look, but it looks intense on my screen. 😮
That attention to detail is insane. I'm not sure though i could personally go for that much green. That must be the client's favorite color!
The color of money! Inspiring if its where all your deals start lol
Love the spaces man!
You know you’ve done a good job when Mr. DeWaukee himself gives you an attaboy!
Always impressed with your quality and standards! Happy Thanksgiving!
Nick, these videos are awesome!

Checkout James with that Japanese pull saw. What a guru!

Very nice, only you could make that green look somewhat nice! I grew up in Needham, Go Rockets!
Great stuff. What Kuiken Bros moulding is that around the windows?
Looks great ! What filler do you painters use. is it a 2 part or one?
Go to the description, the second from
Bottom video explains it
Most builders on UA-cam build to dwell, very few build to live, with character.
Nice work. Are those Knapp biscuits for the face frame? Are they used so you can scribe the face frame?
Can you make a video about how you price projects?
He already made a couple about 2 years ago
man that's a nice paint job
Make up air is in the chimney? What system? Pretty neat.

With the wide variety of lighting it's hard to convey true to life colors over video
How thick you guys make those beefy faceframes on the built-in? Looks very deep.
Green was an interesting choice
That's a lot of work on the paint end
Has the cadence of video releases slowed down recently? Curious as to why?
Yeah, when he said “see you next week” at the end, he meant next month
We do our best! Thanks for hanging around when we slack
keep up the good work! whenever.@@NSBuilders
Maybe I missed it, but did anyone either catch or know the color names of those walls in the green room and sand colored office?
What are the dimensions of the first office?
What paint did you use?
It’s in the description. Second video from bottom
