@@SOUTHERN-PACIFIC-4449 man, you live in North Carolina, the wild clay capital of the world. I don’t know what I can tell you to help but there has to be clay around you somewhere. Maybe you can ask some local potters if they can share a location with you.
@@AncientPottery ok so I think I might be doing the process wrong is there a specific way to make clay in the mountains and if not how do I know what process to go for ex dry process or strainer method and also I love your channel it’s amazing I’ve watched since I was 5 I’m not even joking keep up the great work
This looks like alot of fun. Such a fun hobby :) Even the flint napping tangent. Something I also have tried and learned on UA-cam. It has been alot of fun watching this channel grow. Even more fun watching the 'reverberations' it has created among its viewers. Thanks Andy.
Wow, how cool! So many people were there, lots of neat pots too! Just awesome. Interesting mixed results with your reduction firing. It was a large hot fire it looked like!
Yes it was a lot of fun. I think I shouldn't have stacked that firing the way I did, I have only fired one or two pots together this way and I was out of my element trying to fire so many pieces. But I have ideas about trying this again soon.
This video makes me want to attend the conference more than ever! I am prepping to join you all next year. Jakaiya and I are anticipating the occasion and we thank you for sharing the footage of this years event! Spectacular!
I started with the William Tell Overture just because I wanted that cartoon morning song, but the more I looked at that music the more of it seemed to fit the mood of that day. Glad you liked it.
Found it! “Asher’s Wonky Pottery” Subscribed.
Great! Asher is a great kid and really smart
Thanks for sharing this Andy!
My pleasure!

Yes it was!

Thanks for watching!

Oh myI live only 60 miles away from Cortez darn. I missed it.
Tank you.
oh my, love seeing rod dotson's flint blades!
He is a master
Bob Cassia's pot, around the 8:15 minute mark, was incredible.
Bob really knows what he's doing.
Cheers from Kayenta Az!
Hey, Kayenta! Know where there is any good clay up there on the Rez?
Your choice of music made me laugh. 😄👍

Looney Tunes yep first thing I thought of, an old fan.😂 Loved it, great compliment to your video. Thank you for sharing with us.
Love the Pee Wee Herman quote! 🤣
Ha, I wouldn't have filmed it myself, but after it was captured, I had to include it.
Too hot to handle
too cold to hold
we call the Ghostbusters and they're in control
👍
I saw you there!
Did I get to meet you? Not sure, I met so many people and was so busy.
@@AncientPottery yes! I had 1 or 2 conversations with you.
@@JakeEdwards-i9p probably one of those things where your name doesn’t ring a bell but if I could see your face it would.
@@AncientPottery yea that’s ok but it was really cool to meet you
