This was one of d best arranged tunes besides renegades off course who deserved to win but this is d tune I am listening to the most after d carnival..really innovative and compelling arrangement heard d song throughout never lost the melody ..this was absolutely fantastic and dynamic and this is coming from an All Stars fanatic..well done 2 those 2 youthful arrangers since the taste of carnival they showed notice of their future intentions and they havent disappointed..I think they could've tied with renegades for first place
This performance is STELLAR. 🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The joy, enthusiasm & energy level always puts a smile on my face. The arrangement & execution was great. I love all the directions the arranger took the tune. There is nothing like listening & watch musicians throwing down & thoroughly enjoying themselves. 🇹🇹♥️The bit with the car & the audiences joyful reaction when it started up 😄, we've all been there & that's exactly how it feels. 😄
The combination of silver stars , Ramsey and ricards will be a force to recon with. Love the tricks with d rhythm background pan and middle pans ❤ also the intro has a little piece of Stewart brilliant thinking.
Being able to always Attend panorama year after year in NYC it has always been an exciting feeling for me but I must say Trinidad 🇹🇹 panorama is definitely giving different vibes … strong togetherness with each steel drum , its the whole total arrangement…. for me
The "balance of power" in the "West" seems to be shifting in plain sight, isn't it? Heartiest congratulations to the management and players of Silver Stars and Invaders Steel Orchestras!
The more i pay attention to this piece I'm convinced had carnival been one week later. These guys would have beaten Tourist Leggo and tun a close second to Renegades. This has some serious tricks an some amazing parts. The conversation between the front line an middle pans wow brilliant. Guys I'm going to add y'all to my list of bands I'm playing with next year Saturday 10th February. Count on me wow
Great performance arrangements and interpretation Notice the drop in of The Burning Flames from Antigua and Barbuda "Swinging Engine " in the arrangements 7mins-19sec to 7 mins 32 sec . Another Antigua wadadli tune besides "Tourist Leggo" written by Shelly Tobit and performed by Dr King Shirt Emanuel Mclean as played by "Exodus" for this panorama! Maybe the title should read "Engine Room "by Olutunji and "Swinging Engine "by the Burning Flames ( now The Original Burning Flames)!
Thats not how panorama works lol (although i get ur point as far as the usage of songs). The "quotes" (parts of another song) that are used in an arrangement, is to further the message/intention of the song itself. The intelligence of an arranger is shown when they dont use too much of a song, because then youll probaly lose points (its even better to be original and not use any borrowing!). The beauty of it all, is for one to figure out what song is being borrowed (thats intelligence on the listeners part). Nonetheless, big up to ANTIGUA and their continued artistry from longtime...bless

Authority. these rules and regulations are written in accordance to Article 7 part B clauses twelve and fourteen of the Constitution of Pan Trinbago Inc 2.1 definitions and Interpretations a) authorized person means any member of the Panorama Management Committee Central Executive or any person so designated b) COMPETITION MEANS PANORAMA COMPETITION AT ANY OF ITS RESPECTIVE STAGES CULMINATING IN THE FINAL FOR THE COMPETING BANDS 6. MUSIC 6.1 MUSIC SELECTION For purposes of the competition each participating steelband may select of perform any Calypso soca chutney provided that a) has not be played by the said steelband at any previous panorama competition 6.2 Failure to comply with music selection. Any steelband which fails to comply with clause 6.1 hereof shall be disqualified from the competition 6.2.1 Change of tune .Steelbands are entitled to change their tune up to SEVEN days before the preliminary round of the competition, once a tune has been adjudicated upon for the preliminary state of the competition it cannot be changed for the successive rounds of the competition i.e semi finals ,finals

Wow, this was clever? See when you play with other bands you fo miss a lot. This performance was brilliant. There were some tricks used here that were just brilliant. I'm very impressed 👏
@HansumTrini I guess you've never played pan so you simply don't understand the terminology. Sorry if you can't listen to the tune and understand the term "tricks". Pan players will know. You don't see it you hear it. Thank you

Don't loop all pan players with ur understanding because u believe u might be correct. Just as you claimed this band would've beat XODUS if given an earlier week.
