I flew both the SH-2 and the SH-60 as a Navy pilot in the 80’s and 90’s. Both were excellent aircraft but you could trim out the SH-2 to be smooth as silk. Really amazing aircraft that you could fly and land without hydraulic assist (in an emergency of course).

This is one beautiful bird, I bet it handles as good if not better than the blackhawk
It's a nice bird. This is the first video I have watched of one. Loved the startup. Sounds very similar to the Westland Lynx in flight. Heli's have unique sounds, but amazingly the Kaman sounds very similar to the Lynx
Its that very same rear rotor snarl as the Lynx. I call that the aggressive sound. Early Pumas and Sea Kings had the aggressive rotor snarl when they were flying. Most helicopters now are switching over to the harmless bumblebee humm. I preferred the angry snarl it sounded more threatening.
Ya..this Kaman SH2 is the one from fine scale model of Kittyhawk by 1/48 scale.
It is the real one!!
