Robert Smith truly has created some of the most enchantingly haunting tunes of the modern era. Every time I think I’ve fully uncovered what he has to offer as a musician, something else emerges from these deep and seemingly endless vaults!!! He is so prolific and so emotively in tune with his output. A true musical treasure. I wouldn’t want to imagine a world without his art. ❤ Robert Smith forever.
Forreal tho...he has this way of making the most simple sounding riff or melody completely captivating. Ordinarily repetitive things will make me tune out eventually, but Robert Smith can play the same three notes over and over and I am still hanging onto every note.

As we know, during the recording of the album Blue Sunshine, a great deal of psychedelics were consumed by the band. Both visual, audial and chemical. What most people don't know is that at some point during that time Rob and Steve got married by a guy dressed like Neville Chamberlain in the Parisian catacombs. The marriage was later annulled mutually by both parties on the grounds that it was never consummated and neither have a memory of it, but I have it on good authority (A guy down my local called Derek who swore he was there) that it took place.
