I'm Turkish and the name Ayla means "with the moon". The Turks gave her this name because her face reminds them of the moon. And unfortunately we lost Ayla's Turkish father Süleyman in 2017. We thank our brother country for publishing this touching story in such a valuable place. Overseas most people don’t refer to the country as “our country”
E.g. if I’m American I say “America is…” not “our country is ..”

일본인들은 자기나라를 칭할때
그냥 일본이라고 많이 표현하지
우리나라라는 표현은 안씁니다
그다음으로 쓰는 표현은 나의나라인데
이건 그다지 통상적으로 쓰이는 느낌은 아니고요
