Congrats!! I remember when I was TTC and just crying after every negative test. It’s such an emotional process and while I tried to live in the moment and enjoy the process it’s hard not to feel a sense of failure so those feeling so you were having are so valid and so relatable. I’m looking forward to seeing your journey, pregnancy can feel incredibly isolating especially when you add in being away from friends and family but sharing the journey can make it feel less isolating.

Congratulations! This is a precious time you'll look back on and miss! Watching this video brought back so many memories of my 3 pregnancies/babies that I had while living in Taiwan. Having babies abroad has challenges but it's also amazing. You'll be a great mom! Also , I had all my babies in my 30's (at 31, 35, 36, and 38) . I feel like it was better because I was a lot more settled in life and confident in myself in my 30's vs 20's !
Congratulations! I had my baby in Japan 6 months ago after trying to conceive for a year (although we had a miscarriage before that very early into the pregnancy). So I know what you're going through living abroad and having your 1st baby. And my husband isn't even Japanese, so it was A LOT! One thing I felt like i hadn't been prepared for is when you first get your baby home, they'll be just a lovely snuggly lump. By 6 months, our baby is laughing and trying to crawl and so full of personality and energy. It's almost like having a whole different baby! I read everything and yet I was still so surprised by how different she was from the newborn stage in the infant stage

My husband and I have been married for 12 years. 6 months after we got married, I got pregnant and we were SO excited. Then, we lost the baby. I had to have surgery and became extremely depressed. I was 21. We tried for years to get pregnant again. I found out that I had PCOS and endometriosis. I had surgery to remove the lesions and was told that I wasn't able to get pregnant again. I am happy to say that our rainbow baby boy turns 5 next month. I ended up needing to have a total hysterectomy 4 years ago but we have our boy.

He was way more enthousiastic then I was, that's the hormones. Now almost 9 years after that moment, my 8 year old daughter is running around the house (and driving me up the walls from time to time hahaha)

Also can confirm how awesome NIshimatsuya is. Went there for the first time this summer with my sister-in-law and bought the CUTEST unicorn princess dress for my niece and a watermelon outfit for my cousin’s baby. So cheap! CONGRATULATIONS!!!! I found out at three weeks along I was pregnant… I took a test a week prior and had nothing… then out of nowhere in the morning I just got a random urge to go take one and it came back super vibrantly positive. It’s almost funny when you don’t take the digital for the first test and you just slowly watch the lines darken and think “Oh my god.. that can’t be right??? Is that really happening??”.. there’s so many WOW/amazing moments when you are pregnant, for example around 20 weeks you will just be walking or hanging out and all of a sudden will feel little bumps in your belly and realize it’s the baby kicking!!! I’m so happy for you and your journey!!! I have been watching you for years when I first got interested in Japan and have watched your videos while going through so many ups and downs through my life. So sorry for the rambling!!! Congrats to you both so happy for you!! My first pregnancy it took 7 almost 8 months . Our 2nd child it took 6.5 years which was born 6 weeks early. We didn't think were were able to have any more kids so we thought we were blessed with one if it was meant to be it will happen😊. we wanted our kids close in age range but that didn't happen the way we had planned. Our 3rd child which was also a preemie in the NICU was 4.5 yrs apart from our 2nd child and 11.5 yrs between our first and 3rd child. All 3 were emerg c-sections.

Congratulations, I‘m 8 weeks pregnant myself and had to laugh when you got emotional about not beeing pregnant after 3 months of trying. I had to wait 4 years and 2 ivfs to get to this state. 😁 looking forward to your next Videos. Greetings from Austria! ❤️

Wishing you a happy and healthy pregnancy!! My husband is also Japanese but we live in NJ. Get ready to watch lots of Japanese kid song videos lol (if you plan to have your baby learn Japanese - it really helps) sometimes bilingual and trilingual kids have speech delays so don’t worry - anyway I’m getting ahead of myself! Congrats again and enjoy every moment and sleep 😆
Yes! My husband and I plan on speaking in both English and Japanese and teaching our kid Japanese :)

Congrats to you both so happy for you!! My first pregnancy it took 7 almost 8 months . Our 2nd child it took 6.5 years which was born 6 weeks early. We didn't think were were able to have any more kids so we thought we were blessed with one if it was meant to be it will happen😊. we wanted our kids close in age range but that didn't happen the way we had planned. Our 3rd child which was also a preemie in the NICU was 4.5 yrs apart from our 2nd child and 11.5 yrs between our first and 3rd child. All 3 were emerg c-sections.
