- Legos are more than a toy for the world-famous architect Moshe Safdie. They were the inspiration for one of his most famous works. Martha Teichner has the portrait of an artist on top of the world.
Brilliant!! I saw his concepts after Habitat and couldn't wait to see more. What a pity it took so long for the world to catch up!! Bravo!!!
Astonishing works!
Fabulous! 💥
What a novel solution to high density buildings! His architecture is that of a true visionary
INCREDIBLE! What a talented man, blessed with amazing vision for beauty and art.👍
I really hope he has a set project/vision for the Philippines 💖
one could argue that Habitat is his best project. it benefited from having a modular unit that invited an organic configuration. later projects also addressed very different programs as per building typology.
Boise, Idaho's voters wisely held up in 2019 on a Safdie-designed events center/library. Sometimes you have to think hard about costs, impacts to the environment, and respect for local heritage and culture before you quest after visions ... especially in a city that's having a hard time just housing people, managing its traffic, and dealing with a growing population of homeless.
Nice job!

I would give the empty concrete walls a green wall garden, so i don't have to look at the brutal concrete reality all the time..
They should build one of his buildings in San Jose California
His young days look like Einstein in his young days
I wonder if he met Leonard Cohen while in College!
👌👌👌👌🌹
Why not build that Chinese apartment block for the residents no doubt forcibly displaced from their homes in order to build it?
PageMonster HYPOCRITE!!! Westerners brag about cities like Paris, St.Petersburg....How do you thibk they were built?
@@j4genius961 You're nolonger making China look good....
I hate flat roofs!
Habitat the only good one. Institute of Peace, the worst.
Lego is plural AND singular. Lego, not "Legos".
Mindcraft
Actually, *Lego* is a federally-protected trademark (it’s incorrect to make it plural or possessive). Its individual parts are called *“bricks”* . For example: My toy construction site consists of various colored Lego *bricks* .
