They also nerf with constructed in mind, and this can have some huge runoff in other formats. Also remember that demon hunter's power level largely revolves around class cards, and arena forces you to take a significant number of neutrals.

Considering that Trump had to get a good curve, it was only the lackey that would be good. Replicatotron is probably the worst here, as it poses an unnecessary requirement to save an extra minion on board, not to mention that controlling replicatotrons when you have more than one is only possible with classes like paladin or something. Brightwing was a better choice than the mech, solely because it could have given a 6+ mana card and costs 1 mana less, but considering the curve Trump was prioritizing, this is strange that he even deemed that as a possibility. Doesnt matter tho, he still won!

I would imagine that nerfing a game with so many variables would be quite hard.

I like watching Duels more than Arena. Arena is just minion crafted decks and consistent drops. I like the weird plays and odd bucket grabs in duels.
