I think he was saying if he was going to be offered another execute alongside two trash cards he didn't want to get stuck with it, so he chose the other really good card over execute because he's less likely to get two of that card, ya know?
8:22 That locust trade is really odd. The only rationale I could find with it is either: use the rush to setup for the 4/2 to kill next turn, or he saw into Trump's hand, saw the risky skipper + ritualist free clear.
- Trump: "This is the most aggressive deck I've ever drafted in arena!" - *Doesn't play a minion in three turns on the first turn for Value* - Trump: "I guess we're a control deck now!"
What's the name of trumps overlay that he uses, the one that gives him card scores in arena draft and percentages in battlegrounds and a deck tracking list?
I used to have Gnarg in my wild dragon warrior which features Marin the fox. So one time I got the treasure that draws a card and fills your hand with it and I drew Gnarg and I couldn't resist but to play 7 gnargs in one turn
I watched them on Twitch Vods, the first one was absolutely terrible and unfun, and the second one wasn't particularly fun either, you don't miss anything.
I need someone to tell me what songs are from 3:30 - 6:00 and at 6:10 right after he starts the game. I can't get them out of my head and need to listen to it...
I wouldn't say tempo doesn't matter in this format. But I would say that very few cards matter in some games. Like Alexstrasza. As long as you have cards like the explorers to discover dragons and you build to just in case draft Alex, you have a chance oh hitting her and 90% of the time when you play her you win the game unless you're ridiculously far behind. Arena's (and hs in general) always been a format where, if neither player is close to dying, if one player can use all their mana each turn, and the other is playing a 1 drop, hero powering, and passing, the guy who spends all their mana wins. I feel terrible when I'm topdecking and my opponent still has 4+ cards.
I think it's the opposite. Whoever spends all their mana first loses, because a minion-filled board is always an all-or-nothing play, since board clears are common. The game is too kind to control decks because of that. It's why I hate smorc Hunters but think that they're necessary for deck variance.
1:04:40 if he ahd used battlerage instead of big ol he was able to play wraped golem, having an 1/1 taunt on board to cover the enemies attack and his golem sets up 7 dmg as leathal for next turn. if the enemy cant deal 1 dmg
5:29 Fiery war axe gets an extra 50% of its tier score from spiteful smith synergy... seems like bad code. First of all, that's a single card in the whole deck. What are the chances you'll have them at the same time? Second, spiteful smith's effect isn't that easy to trigger and the buff isn't that big. Nothing about this synergy is worth that much.
Excellent content as per usual, Jens/Trump, although I must say that last game was definitely Trump traded away from a potential win. You don't look to outvalue a warlock as warrior, especially when you draw all of your 1-drops, which happen to be a great aggro tool.
How did Bonechewer Vanguard get a 58 when the base score was 82?!?! It has a ton of synergy in warrior, it had a ton of synergy in his deck, he had very little late game, and there was no reason it should've been LESS than the base score. Bonechewer Vanguard must've had one too many problematic tweets from 10 years ago, and pissed off someone to get that score.
Funny. Most of the arena games I've won have been with tempo and the losses were primarily due to losing the board early. I guess I've been drafting wrong huh.
The 1/1 didn’t die because it “cannot go below 1 health this turn”, and it has one health. The poisonous tag reads that any damage dealt to a minion by this minion will kill it. The locust couldn’t lose health because of shout and therefore the poisonous minion could deal no damage to it. The challenger has ten health and the first time it attacked, it would have died because a poisonous minion dealt damage to it and it is allowed to take up to 9 damage under commanding shout.
It just gives you armor. Some cards are a minion mixed with armor gain, or draw mixed with armor gain. It's literally just a stall card, which begs the question why you wouldn't just run any other 4-mana card instead. It's why Iron Hide never sees play.
I watched this live and I still don't understand Trump's logic why he isn't technically lying about "literally never gotten offered Warrior before". He insisted that it's technically literally true, but i just don't get why that would be.
To win against Warlock late game u disable their hero power by doing as much face damage as possible. Picking that libram of justice over eviscerate is the greediest thing I have ever witnessed lmao.
Love that Trump is back to the occasional arena run. Great editing as always, Jens!
I'm pretty sure arena is all trump will be playing until the next expansion
I could take my parents lying to me about Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny. But Trump lying about Arena? That scar will never heal.
Trump's editor just straight up sold him out lmao
Thank you Jens!
I love it ahahaah
Trump: We are playing a tempo deck
Trump 0.452 seconds later: ill armor up instead of playing a 2 drop
And also holding Risky Skipper in hand for entire games instead of just using it for small tempo plays
Yeah he was valuing the battlecry of the ritualist way too much.
Yeah, Tempo Decks arent Bad in Arena, its just that Trump is Bad with tempo decks because he is unable to not Play for value
0:51 watcherino drafterino
6:08 Skipperino drafterino
Thank you, my Kripp and savior.
THE L Y I N G M A N
Anyone else’s Siri keep popping up in any of trump’s videos where he reads the help text, “...we SIRIously need a 3 drop...”. It’s quite hilarious.
2:32 "This card I don't necessarily want 2 of." Doesn't even have 1 of. Classic Trump
I think he was saying if he was going to be offered another execute alongside two trash cards he didn't want to get stuck with it, so he chose the other really good card over execute because he's less likely to get two of that card, ya know?
I'm predicting that he'll never draw a gan'arg until turn 6 at minimum
prediction wrong
You are talking about the guy who got to legend with Tempo Mage by drawing Mana Wyrm on turn 1 in like 90% of his matches (when it cost 1 mana)
"FIREY WAR IMP"
Trump has too much Gnarg in his head :D
Well, it's a 1 mana 3/2 much like the weapon that comes with Gan'arg
Your editing is superb as per usual Jen! Nicely done
Thanks for the fantastic uploads as always. Arena is a welcome variety that a lot of content creators ignore. I love it thank you :)
8:22 That locust trade is really odd. The only rationale I could find with it is either: use the rush to setup for the 4/2 to kill next turn, or he saw into Trump's hand, saw the risky skipper + ritualist free clear.
When you play gan’arg on turn 1: G’nr’G

Jens, you are evil. I love you.
33:44 Wow, never heard that Dalaran Crusader voice line before.
"I can't see anything with this helmet!"
that's probably because it has two different voice lines (the other being "It's not just the city of mages").
One whole hour of Trump?! The value
37:14 For a second I could not figure out what happened
i still dont know...
?
Kripparian: leaves arena for battleground
Trump: *a new challenger appears*
lul
I think trump's hair lookin good today
- Trump: "This is the most aggressive deck I've ever drafted in arena!"
- *Doesn't play a minion in three turns on the first turn for Value*
- Trump: "I guess we're a control deck now!"
This really just highlights how absurd Priest's late game plays are compared to every other class
It's the amount of absurdly powerful board clears the class has. Why would you ever play Mage over Priest unless you're playing an OTK deck?
everytime he says Gan'arg, it makes me smile
love watching you play arena trump!
Whenever trump says something about not being able to lose you know the opponent has already won
What's the name of trumps overlay that he uses, the one that gives him card scores in arena draft and percentages in battlegrounds and a deck tracking list?
Love seeing you play arena! Hope you keep planting it
12:00 trump goes full murloc
I used to have Gnarg in my wild dragon warrior which features Marin the fox. So one time I got the treasure that draws a card and fills your hand with it and I drew Gnarg and I couldn't resist but to play 7 gnargs in one turn
Can we get uploads of those previous 2 Arena runs? xD
What two runs? This is his First Warrior Run.
I watched them on Twitch Vods, the first one was absolutely terrible and unfun, and the second one wasn't particularly fun either, you don't miss anything.
bless jens editing
I need someone to tell me what songs are from 3:30 - 6:00 and at 6:10 right after he starts the game. I can't get them out of my head and need to listen to it...
What is the outro music?

The 9/1 from Disguised Wanderer didn't get to attack even once in this video. It was hit by a weapon sometimes, though.
1:04:40 if he ahd used battlerage instead of big ol he was able to play wraped golem,
having an 1/1 taunt on board to cover the enemies attack and his golem sets up 7 dmg as leathal for next turn.
if the enemy cant deal 1 dmg
He's not a Gan'oblin, not a Gan'elf, not even a Gan'ome! He's a Gan'arg, and you've been Gar'arg'd!
Heart of the cards baby!
Ga'naaaargg!!!
37:13 WTF Trump you made the wrong play in order to do the right play? or viceversa?
Jens absolutely destroying Trump in the beginning
5:29 Fiery war axe gets an extra 50% of its tier score from spiteful smith synergy... seems like bad code. First of all, that's a single card in the whole deck. What are the chances you'll have them at the same time? Second, spiteful smith's effect isn't that easy to trigger and the buff isn't that big. Nothing about this synergy is worth that much.
It was mostly thinking "We seriously need a card to play on turn three"
1:37 Don’t look at her look at me
Shadoweaver is temporary but Battle Rage is eternal
drinking game:take a shot everytime trump says gan'ARRRGG
Trump my guy, your hair is looking great!
why would you not commanding shout and warmaul challenger to kill his 7 drop!? Thats a great combo!!
How and where do u get the deck helper from?
Locust didn't die under commanding shout to the poison scorpid. Could've done the 1 10 commanding shout hard removal.
Excellent content as per usual, Jens/Trump, although I must say that last game was definitely Trump traded away from a potential win. You don't look to outvalue a warlock as warrior, especially when you draw all of your 1-drops, which happen to be a great aggro tool.
At 49:32 he plays Zylliax
There are always ups and downs for Trump Labs.
When I play warrior I always struggle with how many weapons to put in and what the right time is use them.
This video needs a counter for whenever Trump says GAN'ARG
wasn´t lethal commanding shout + warmaul challenger onto the bonechewer vanguard?
I love Trump arena, it’s the best.
Ok, uh... weird question, but... does the ethereal augmerchant have the same voice actor as the Locus Walker, or do they just sound very similar?
Yeah, that's definitely Michael Donovan.
59:55 going face probably was better putting in more pressure
Yeah he was really close to lethal in the end
Drink everytime trump says "gnarg"
I like the music in the video its much better with music in the backround
46:44 IS THAT A JOJO REFERENCE???
Hinjaku hinjaku
22:53 why dont you attack face?
It couldn't, it only had rush
Why did Imprisioned Ganarg had rush though? It’s not on the card text...
@@marquesbarros.2599 because it was summoned by the 10 drop that gives rush
I love how Trump destroyed that priest
nice job, Jens!
...Fiery War Imp KekeHands

Did anybody get mind fucked right about 37:14 when he played the five drop haha
Backstabbing Jens = best Jens
Haven't ever seen this many ads on a video before
G A N A R G
Trump should have "the bamboozlerman" as intro indstead
Jens can you tell trump I Iike him even though he misplays some times
GG = Gan'arg Gan'arg
They thought triple gan'arg were the problem. Actually it is 2 mana draw 3-6 card is the beast.
Oh yes... the fire war imp...

That second game, his opponent warior was so bad i was insulted😅🤯🌡
"So much rage!"
So much draw cards!
So much ragequits!😅😆🤣🤬
Woo!
11:42
16:25 "stupid scorpion"
But trump, you could've cleared it but you didn't because you think your 1/10 dies even with commanding shout...
Poisonous means that any minion damaged by it dies. If Commanding Shout overrules that rule, it should be fixed.
The 1/1 didn’t die because it “cannot go below 1 health this turn”, and it has one health. The poisonous tag reads that any damage dealt to a minion by this minion will kill it. The locust couldn’t lose health because of shout and therefore the poisonous minion could deal no damage to it. I Love how trump always get punish for his greed value plays. And yet, he never learn
11:40
Oh g'no
Freezes are temporary value is forever
And you say that you never played warrior in arena
Guh NARRRRr gh!

how is doctor boom's scheme so bad? :(
It just gives you armor. Some cards are a minion mixed with armor gain, or draw mixed with armor gain. It's literally just a stall card, which begs the question why you wouldn't just run any other 4-mana card instead. It's why Iron Hide never sees play.

What? Lmao

For a tempo deck you did way too much trading.
gg
greediest aggro plays ever lol
