It's so amazing to see how they've each evolved over time, finding their true voices/colors.
The original concept of the group being so hardcore hip-hop, it took a minute for them to figure out how to comfortably integrate the vocal line in a natural way. You can see their growth as a group and how they begin to truly mesh more with each new release. You can't tell in the MV because there are cuts, but look at the dance practice and every performance. Jimin never throws the hat. It's always been an illusion.

The Suga Part was wrong translated, he is actually saying that other Idols are a waste of a Rapper because they are forced to rap because they can't sing, unlike him who has been a fan of rap and hip-hop and respects the culture that comes with it.It's also an f u to Big 3 Idols, who debuted off a privileged position. The reason BTS debuted as an Idol Group was because it was easier to get an Investment, since they were so broke they almost had to move out. BTS was always meant to be a Rap Group around RM.
Just a heads up! For official MVs with subs from between 2013 to about 2015, they are on the 1theK Channel. Those views both count towards views and have accurate captions because BigHit and 1theK struck an agreement for the caption MVs to be housed there. The “throw a stone at me if you’ve worked as hard as I did” is a play off of the Bible verse where Jesus says “he who is without sin, cast the first stone” So you’re right, Jimin is saying you only get to criticize us if you’ve worked as hard or harder than us (just like Jesus was saying you only get to judge someone for winning if you’ve never sinned in your whole life)

My daughter was trying to enlighten me since 2015…FINALLY, I listened to Serendipity by Jimin (BTS) and watched Black Swan on a late show in very early 2020 and I was FLOORED. I wasn’t full ARMY until I heard Euphoria by JK (BTS) and watched carpool karaoke and Jin stole my whole ❤. O.N was my first comeback and I was speechless at the whole thing. My daughter had tickets for Dallas show, and I was willing to sell my soul for tickets but then we all know what happened. These guys…turned a then 46 yr old woman into a fan girl. The heavy rap/hip hop stuff SHOCKED me and took a while to grow on me. Now, my fav solo stuff is AgustD d-day, specifically Snooze (Woosung!!!!) and Amygdala. 💜
They all came in as trainees with no vocal experience. They hadn't sung in front of an audience before , nor sang live before. They didn't have much vocal training yet.

The most memorable I think for Namjoon's hair is the icecream hair, its what always comes to mind when ever anyone mentions his earlier styles.
