Finally, the Civic gets aligned! This is one of the last things I need to do to the car before she's off to a new home. Unfortunately, the Spoon wheels just don't fit without rubbing slightly in the rear and I don't want to run broke camber. Buy some cool stuff to win this car below!

At 21:01 when Matt picks up the wrench that was set on the car.. priceless.. don’t set tools on the frickin car! OCD life
I noticed that too haha!
Wondered if anybody seen that !
You forgot to say “Alright Honda Bros”
Did anyone else notice around 20 minutes in when one of the mechanics set a wrench down on the radiator support Matt instantly picks it up 😂
He was being really careful as well lol
It’s kinda cool how this is a for for 4 cylinder and now we have things like Camry’s that are similar and may be big like the civic is now

They can put masking tape on the wheels contact points.
Hey Matt, good call on the motor mounts The way a car feels it’s about 85% of the car we want it to look and sound awesome but if it feels bad vibration, seat position, you can’t see out of it or etc. it was classic the way you palmed the wrench smooth Matt smooth…
lol i like the fact when the guy outs the wranch down matt picks it up again alomst like woth hell you doing
I'm glad you are using a Hunter Hawkeye Elite...the best alignment machine out there!
Rule #262 DONT PUT TOOLS ON THE CAR! I saw him slowly put it down and I was hoping someone would say or do something about it. Lost it laughing when Matt picked it up!
I'm hoping its someone who keeps it forever. If I win it, it will be daily driven and make a couple hours of commute in Southwest Florida traffic a hell of a lot more enjoyable.
Good to see you got that rear lower mount out, hopefully it makes it better!
Matt just offended all the stance kids.
Love it!!
I like that dash board rattle! That’s how you know your gonna go make serious power in the future.
1:43 I'm guessing matt's not aware you can corner ballance on the shock body's themselves and moving physical parts about isn't what most people with street cars mean 😄
if you fit fully adjustable suspension to a car i would think that doing a corner weight set up would be the correct thing to do to get the best set up even for the road
@@valvemonky4734 in my mind, that, the additional spring rates and adjustable dampers are why you buy coils, and he certainly has the ability and resource to do it. I didn't corner ballance my EG due to lack of funds at the time but I certainly made use of the stiffer set up. On reflection though, matt got these as a "thing he wanted way back" and got them set up super soft. So seeing the normal benefits isn't a priority. Its more the nostalgia he has to such a product and why he's content just throwing them on 🤷♂️😄
Have you ever actually done a corner balancing exercise? Well...I have about 20 times. It's a complete waste of time unless you are going to add or remove weight from car.
@@ObsessedGarage i don't have the equipment personally, I have been with a couple of friends cars and understand the process well enough to give it a go myself and hope to one day. As said above though, I get why you haven't as its not a stiff track set up. Its a nostalgia trip. So it'll still be better than stock and stock suspension is never corner adjusted in any way. I suppose for us with little funds it seems like a lost opportunity of some very capable suspension components. I hope you understand 👍
In my opinion it looks great! The Regas are the wheels are the best looking wheels for the EM1.
Those sliding nuts on the rear toe compensator arms cause some people a lot of trouble if they seize up, if the bolt breaks off and the captive nut is forever lost inside the frame. But it’s also why I don’t like the threaded adjustable toe arms, because you can end up with different toe angle gain on each side of the car, which can cause unpredictable left vs right handling.
"just get a miata"- thats not really a "honda bro" thing to say
Hunter sells Wheel off adapters so you can make your camber and caster adjustments without the wheel being in the way.
Period correct we would need a set of bronze TE's and one set of white wheels
I'm gonna miss all the Honda Broz videos.😪😪😪
I absolutely love the Si! I hope I win it. And I'll keep it and not change a thing. Other than switch out the wheels with the ones that come with it.
3rd. Nice, and finally aligned👌👍
Good old days!
And I bet now that the rear mount is out. You won't have any issues with the how the car rides with the 2 side Hasport Mounts. NVH just dropped by like 90%. Take it from a former Honda Bro
12:12 did Matt just admit to almost buying a new G80 M3??????
All I can hear Matt saying is no putting tools on the 140k civic BRO. lol
Can't believe you didnt do this before the Geese review
Agreed, those guys probably drove 20 hours through awful weather down there to drive the car and it had a crap alignment.
The car drove just fine for them. My alignment was barely off. It's an all day affair to go to a proper shop to get an alignment.
@@ObsessedGarage I had a bad impression based on Mark's comments. All good, it happens. I know you're busy.
Do you know mugen seiki
Who won?
I’m going to win that sucker
Soooo.... I thought the TE37s were my favorite.. I’m convinced I love the Spoon wheels now.
Sw388 look so good
21:01 🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂
Ohhh first comment,love this car
Time for a haircut little Honda bro aka Matty.
Why is this civic so special???
Really clean low mileage example with over 100k worth of parts and labor. If you look past that honestly nothing, it’s for Honda enthusiast.
@@thewheeltroll1833 Yeah only for Honda fans For me Its a 500$ car
If i were to win this car, even though i could really use the money i could get from selling it, i wouldn't have the heart to. Life is to short so i would drive it every day and try to avoid idiot drivers lol
