The foam has a better R rating than air. No need for air gap
@@lazartrifunovic4664Air gap is for U-Factor, regardless of R-Value. -Former garage door engineer.
@derekbridgerii2102 if the R factor of a material is better than air there is no need for an air gap as that will only lower the total U factor
@derekbridgerii2102 this is spray foam insulation. A simple Google will tell you you're wrong -a mechanical engineer
