SIR,no pressure, but could we start Resonance after isomerism,it is indeed an important topic of Organic chemistry. Thanks sir for ur constant efforts.🙏🙏
he explained it, anyway if ur doubt is still not clear, its because when we consider one carbon to which the hydroxyl is attached we actually get a carbon which has one OH , H , and the RING ( now the ring is not at all symmetrical, it has got two different groups attached, the methyl group and the other hydroxyl group so we can treat them as two different groups denoted as X & Y ) ,,, hence the carbon has got one OH , H , X , Y hence its chiral , HAD it been two similar groups instead of one methyl and one hydroxyl there would not be any chirality, hope u understand, if not you can mail me paulroshan29@gmail.com or call me instead 9123323441 (WhatsApp number)
Bro the same mistake I've done too.. Notice carefully that both OH are not directly connected to the same carbon.. There are four different group present:- 1st 'OH group' 2nd 'H' 3rd 'carbon having CH3' And 4th is 'carbon having another OH group attached to it..!'

2. "4" Valency different grp/atom se satisfied ho.
Then in case of that SULPHUR at 1:00 the given valency of sulphur is 6 in compond
But out of the 6 valency , 4 VALENCY is satisfied with different grp or Atom. THEREFORE IT IS CHIRAL CENTRE
But oxygen is connected with a double bond that means no lone pair is left for it to behave as a different group?
out of those 6 valenced bonds 4 are bonded with the same atom, i.e., oxygen so sulphur can't be a chiral centre
1:02:52 It is surrounded by O on both sides. So it can't be a chiral centre. Please clear it.

Sir in sulphur example there are two same atom so why optically active it should be optically inactive
I think sir forgot to mention that they were isomers .. or sir has made a mistake.
Thanks sir

Sir ji you are good professor and your every lecturer is full confident.
I like your lecture. Your lecture cleared my confidence and proved helpful in exam.

For those who have doubt in 01:02:30 .......the answer is here......
It's an exception in sulphur.....any 2 dissimilar compounds can make it chiral centre 🤗👍all the best

At 1:02:46 How can it be Chiral Centre??
It has two Oxygen atoms i.e. O at vertical positions.
Sir made a mistake
@@digicgen3982 sure na?
@muhammad tauseef mistake ha
Yes
Agar apko answer mil jaye to please ese comment section me explain kr dijiyega.

Right..
Sir 1:2:44 me there is two oxygen surrounding by sulphur.so,how it can be optical active. Reply me sir, please 😍😍😍😍
Obviously that compound doesn't fulfill the criteria hence its neither chiral center nor optical active
Brw mera vi ye doubt he
Yes right bro

what kind of meth are you on?
Listen ye disymmetry hai ya dissymmetry hai? Because internet par tog dissymmetry araha
Disymmetry hai
SIR,no pressure, but could we start Resonance after isomerism,it is indeed an important topic of Organic chemistry. Thanks sir for ur constant efforts.🙏🙏
Sir you are like book with lots of concept and question along with mindblowing solution that we can access for free
At 59:00 how come there are two chiral centres because OH and OH are same groups attached to the same carbon anyone pls explain
he explained it, anyway if ur doubt is still not clear, its because when we consider one carbon to which the hydroxyl is attached we actually get a carbon which has one OH , H , and the RING ( now the ring is not at all symmetrical, it has got two different groups attached, the methyl group and the other hydroxyl group so we can treat them as two different groups denoted as X & Y ) ,,, hence the carbon has got one OH , H , X , Y hence its chiral , HAD it been two similar groups instead of one methyl and one hydroxyl there would not be any chirality, hope u understand, if not you can mail me paulroshan29@gmail.com or call me instead 9123323441 (WhatsApp number)
Bro the same mistake I've done too..
Notice carefully that both OH are not directly connected to the same carbon..
There are four different group present:-
1st 'OH group'
2nd 'H'
3rd 'carbon having CH3'
And 4th is 'carbon having another OH group attached to it..!'
Are, one is OH and another is CHOH. Simple😏..the substituents are...OH,H,CHCH3 and CHOH.😏..
@@dhruvbaghel466 thnx buddy u solved my doubt
