Thanks for all you do Tim!! You've helped this beginner out a ton. The other day, thanks to your ccw videos, I was able to get my micro820 controlling an automation direct gs10 vfd via modbus rtu. On top of a whole slew of other things I've learned from you. Thankful folks like you are out here giving your up your time to help us grow.
That is great to hear. Keep it up!
I’m supposed to start my Associates of Applied Science degree in Industrial Maintenance Technology in August
Welcome to the industry. Good luck
Try to also get a maintenance internship and you will be able to learn as you go in the field and in the class. Thats what I’m doing and it helps so much.
Great work Tim!!
Thank you
Goodmorning sir. I am new to this field. I wanted to learn PLC programming, troubleshooting and everything about it. What wouldnyou recommend to me to start on to? And do you do zoom lesson? Thank you.

A faster way to edit your ip settings is to access the globe in the lower right of the start screen.
Yesssss!
I'm glad you made it!
Great video, as always. Any chance that you have a RFID module tutorial somewhere? These littles modules have me stumped😅. Thanks again!
Not yet but I am working on getting some hardware
@@benoitlaporte1700 Are you interested in Siemens, Schneider or other brands of electrical equipment? I can provide you with the best price.
Hello! GREAT CONTENT!!!
So, I have a little problem. I'm working with the simulator and the option "add to spy list" isn't available, Is there a way to activate the option?
Thanks for you time and knowledge.
Interesting. I wonder if it doesn't work with the simulator or the free software.?
@@TimWilborne Right!!! Maybe the free software is the "problem", thanks 😁
I thought it only removed online editing, I'm out of town so can't check
Hello Tim. Thank you all your PLC Training. Would you explain about Armorstart. how can setup PLC? also how can I integration on plc ?
Don't have one of them but I think they are similar to the set up on a Powerflex

Hey Tim, im watching this video as i go but i have a question that i dont quite understand. So i know you said we cannot have our pc ip address match the control system ip address, but how would we check what the ip address of the control system is without plugging it into the laptop?
It is a tricky situation. As I tell everyone who comes to our class, you have to know your networks...but this device can discover many devices without actually having an IP address assigned but it still isn't full proof. Let me make a video on ways that you can narrow it down.

@TimWilborne Thank you so much for your response! I will check out the video and thank you for all you do. I truly appreciate how you explain things as thorough as possible as I am new to plc so thank you for having these videos accessible to everyone!
I'm happy to help!

hi new subscriber here.. . just want to ask what does "no safety signature" mean on Allen bradley PLC
That means someone didn't complete the safety checklist
@@TimWilborne Thanks for the quick reply.. So how to fix that?
What should i do next.?. im using 5069-l320erms3 controller.. Thanks in advance
The answer to that's way too complicated for a UA-cam comment. You need to look at one of the safety certifications such as TUV Rhineland.
Are you interested in Siemens, Schneider and other brands of electrical equipment? I have a lot of products here.
I’m assuming REDGE=Rising Edge, FEDGE=Falling Edge
That would make sense. I don't know why they haven't documented them in the manual.
