I love my Losi Promoto MX. I grew up racing dirtbikes so when I first seen it I had to have one. Just ordered the new proline MX14 rear tire for it and some Joe Shimoda Replica CRF450 graphics. They make hoodies for the rider that look pretty cool too lol
for 2025 I'd love to see Rlaarlo come out with some proper 1/10 and 1/8 scale rigs, give that brand some proper apples to apples rather than hiding behind oddball scales. Not to say they don't make a good rc car, but to me nothing cements an RC company like a proper 1/8 buggy platform
Have you put much time in with the Vigilante since you replaced the diff? I was so tempted to get one while on sale but held off, hoping they address some of the issues in a v2 or something
Solid picks for sure. I think the losi 8ight rtr both buggy n truggy would be on my list for us that like bashing and racing. Being able to buy an rtr with sensored system is pretty much unheard of and I'm all for it
Great picks. I was surprised to see the Hobao in there and no Rlaarlos. I been contemplating the TT 2.0 for a while now as I'm getting back into RC but was unsure as should I get the ARR or the RTR. Either way I will be stoked. Can't wait to see what 2025 brings to the RC world. Thanks!
@@jasonwu2758 roller, you will want to upgrade the electronics in the RTR and the esc is weak, should have 120amps in my opinion. Every mainstream 10th scale has at least 80
Pro moto is an amazing RC, well deserved #1 slot. My honorable mention would be all the small scale RC’s that came out this year. It used to be just small companies like hyper go and Haiboxing. Now the Arrma Groms, mini Maxx and Rlarrlo’s have really stepped up that segment
Very interesting list 🙂 Good to see some brands that are not that well known (Hobao) or considered to be trash (Redcat) make it to your list. As you said Redcat made some big steps up and Hobao have always been great in my eyes but not that well known. Thanks for this awesome review Razor 👏
Hi, for sure, there is a lot of good car in 2024, Arrma 4S Mojave, Hobao 2.0, MJX 10208 and others ,, In France we cant ,bought the Redcat, ilike tne small one, "Valkyrie" !
Holy cow its so crazy to not see someone salivate so hard over something that arrma did for once. It kinda refreshing to not see arrma on this list tbh. Not that I have anything against arrma just so tired of seeing everyone praise them constantly
@@RazorRC I do agree Traxxas prices are ridiculous. I only have the Xmaxx, my others are Arrma and Team Corally. They do keep their prices at a reasonable level.
Nice list razor, some real surprises on this list!! I'm glad you picking a lot of different rcs that I doubt most channels would even mention. I'm surprised the maxx Slash wasn't your #1 pick /s 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 my personal pick is the wov blitzkrieg/ redcat Valkyrie it's an incredible value, overall rc
Redcat, Arrma. TC, and Rlaarlo killed it this year. Traxxas was also present this year.
-😅
Traxxas doing traxxas things lol. The other brands killed it for sure
Traxxas could have released nothing this year and their overall lineup would have been stronger 😅
@vivos71 Yeah ok kid lmaooo. Good one! Literally made me laugh out loud 🤣
Thumbs up for the Hobao Hyper TT 2.0 , it's a pretty rad little truggy!
It is! Needed some recognition on making something that straddles the line between basher and racer in a very small segment of the market.
Arrma and redcat had some awesome deals for the holidays.
They did, I got the Vigilante for a crazy low price.
@@RazorRC Same here for the valkarie! $240 couldn't pass it up.

How does the Mx14 hold up as far as wear?
So good!
Win for the lesser known RC car brands! Redcat and Rlarlo killed it with cheaper cars that are on par if not better than the bigger names.

It can only help that they're making quality cars for less.
@@RazorRC Let's keep this momentum going of cheaper but still durable and quality rc's!
I have most of these. The best for the $$ imo is the Arrma Fury
No joke it is SO GOOD!
Good truck!
Have you put much time in with the Vigilante since you replaced the diff? I was so tempted to get one while on sale but held off, hoping they address some of the issues in a v2 or something
Not a ton, but it's been holding up with the Vitavon diffs.

You're right, the sensored system means they were pretty serious about making it an OOB raceable car.

Artr most definetly
ARR is the one I would go with.
I like the fact you included a race platform, they tend to get left out of the best RC conversation, even though they are always innovating new stuff.
For sure, the B7 is very innovative.

This was definitely the year of the minis.
The b7, as from what I experienced and saw, is literally the go to for clay. It is kicking the ass of my 6.4d
Nice, I haven't driven it on dirt, but I'm sure it's awesome.
RedCat allday I absolutely love mine
Losi Promoto is Killa!!! Love mine
Get list! And a big year in new stuff!
Lots of different ways to judge cars. No problems with your picks, the promoto is on my short list of must have rcs
For sure. This list is more of like a "Time Person of the Year" type of list than a "Best Cars" list.
Razor great list! I’m thinking about a hobao hyper tt2.0. What do you think about as a 3s basher/racer?
Good in-between truck IMO.
I take my cars to that track in Livermore!
Nice choices, good on you for getting the promoto in there, 2 wheels is now stable if driven right
You trolling us, lol😂
Always a possibility.
if only the is a retailer for redcat in Europe. I would instantly buy a vigilante, killer 8s truck !
Great reviews! Was the Team Corally Asuga in the top 10 at least?
Yeah, it'd probably be #6. Haven't thought a lot about a top 10 list.
Great List Razor.
thanks.
Waaaaaiit, you mean to say the Jato 4x4 BL-2S isn't the best in the year? I thought Traxxas thought they hit a home run 🤣
They hit something, that's for sure. Actually I like it, just should've come with a 3S system!

Where is that park located?
I’ve driven in that exact park, it’s in Livermore CA
Awesomeness 🎉
wait no vorteks 223s?
why isnt that on the list?
1.) TC Kagama
(2.) Notorious 6S
(3.) Kraton 6S
(4. )TC Kagama4.
(5.)Typhon 223S v4
i only own a b7
if you're only going to own one, that's a good one to pick!

lots of good stuff released this year
5 mjx hyper go 14303 Citroën
4 rlaarlo omni terminator/mjx 10208/maverik quantum 2 flux
3 traxxas fiesta bl2s/VXL
2 arrma grom line, especially the mojave
1 hpi blackzone Line /rebranded HBX
Rc car of the year and you pick a bike ?
sounded better than "surface vehicle of the year"

Well you know Arrma is... 😂
yeah, Arrma makes great cars, this was more of a "Most Innovative/Different" COTY type of list.
Not near the level of the Traxxas cult though.... yet. lol
Xmaxx will always be KING
Eh
still a good truck, they need to stop raising the price $100 every year though!
@@RazorRC Bidenomics
@ nope, other companies like Arrma and Redcat are able to keep their prices the same or even cheaper than before. It’s called greed.
