Reading some reports recently about when he was in the Lions, he was actively asking the Irish boys about Ireland's history with England through the centuries, apparently he was studying history at the time and found the topic neglected in the UK. Really interesting individual. Smashing rugby player. And that's hard for an Irish man to say about an English man. Good interview.
We in the UK should learn about our history with Ireland, it's only after my own research that I've learned about the horrors and atrocities committed. We need a generation that understands that if we want to forge a better relationship between our two countries in the future.
a clever and short clip from house of joe ..... nice ..... itoje comes across as a naturally articulate, humble, intelligent young man and one helluva rugby player .... he is certainly paving the way as the new breed of player that is able to bring athleticism, match savvy and skills to an increasingly brutal game. Hopefully a Saracens, England and British & Irish Lions Captain in the making .... he captained the England U20s team to the 2014 Triple Crown in the 6 Nations and won the IRB Junior World Championship with a squad who would apparently run and tackle for him until their blood turned to water such was their collective admiration for him as their inspirational leader ..... think mcbride, wyn jones, johnson, borthwick, eales ....
@Frank Flynn yup fair comment about the mighty POC ..... what a top man .... not feeling it for pelous but if I was to include a frenchman it would be the crazy harinorduquy although he hated everybody including his own teammates from clermont, paris, toulon and toulouse because he was a basque playing for biarritz !
What a top bloke, great player and for a 24yr old, old head on young shoulders. For love nor money, i cannot understand why is calling him the Black Pearl is not PC, the guy is black, he is a pearl of a player and it was a name given to by friends, players he trusts, has respect for as they have respect form him. The worlds gone mad

Gotta get him on house of rugby
A brilliant no.4 and England are very lucky to have him. He seems very grounded and a nice man.

Great interview, more interviews with players please! It’s great to hear from them. Maro, come play in the USA for an MLR team at some point.
Is Itoje literally twice his size?
15:12 He thinks Rugby is progressive. Wait til he hears Dream Theater he's going to be absolutely blown away.
