Honestly, I don't think it's a good idea to watch OVA episodes at this point, Ari.
Some episodes were released quite late, so they accidentally revealed important information in the main story line.
Additionally, I think fan appreciation episodes give you too much information about the psychology of characters whose roles remain hidden. Creating sympathy too early for mysterious characters will detract from your overall experience, especially if the story doesn't want to do so yet. Let the main storyline show exactly what the character has. The fact that you rely on what is provided in the main story line to evaluate whether the character's actions and thoughts are reasonable, and whether they are enough to make you love them is the most valuable thing for you and us who watched your video reacting. everything is consistent and convincing.
Don't let the OVA episodes affect your view of the characters and details of the show, especially when these episodes are not created by author Isayama himself. Therefore, I think that only when you feel you understand the characters of this show and still want to explore more, is it the right time to look for OVA episodes.
