      Dunno if anyone gives a damn but if you're stoned like me atm you can watch all of the new movies and series on instaflixxer. I've been watching with my brother for the last few months :)

    Great video. Glad I found this. As Jeremy mentioned near the end, the kids definitely do expect it. Our first Fort trip was in 2006. The second in January, 2008 with annual passes. About two months after that 2008 trip, we sold the camper since we were building our new house that summer. So with APs, we did the Contemporary in June and Port Orleans FQ in August. At the end of the August trip, our two sons said they'd had a great time but they'd rather come back the next time after we got our next camper so we could stay at the Fort.

    This was great! Love your Disney mugs! I am working my way toward campground hopping in the colder months and Fort Wilderness is top on my list of campgrounds. Love seeing other campers from there! :)

      Reinvented Home Movies Thanks for watching! Flying and renting is a pretty darn good option. Or renting a cabin at the Fort.

    Nice video. We are Florida residents and annual passholders and own a 38 foot class A. We stay at "The Fort" 3-4 time a year. I can not emphasize enough there there is no comparison staying at "The Fort" as opposed to any other commercial RV park in the area. You are correct that it is a resort. How many RV parks have a street sweeper twice a day? We very rarely stay in a premium site. We usually stay in a what they call a full hook site and that is just perfect. We also find that 2nd, 3rd, and 4th week of August to cheaper. You are correct about looping, especially near Halloween and Christmas. We have come across many friends and relatives who never bothered to go to the Hoop-de-doo revue. It is one of only dinner shows at "The World" and a fabulous take. When at "The Fort" visit the new multi million dollar Tri-Circle-D Ranch behind Trails End. You can get close and personal to 2000 lb. Draft Horses used at the parks. We usually stay 7 nights and only go the parks 4 days

    Loving the new videos guys!
    We were driving back from Lancaster today while listening to one of the old episodes of the podcast to refresh our minds as we are planning to visit the Niagara Falls next summer. We hope you had a great thanksgiving!

    Don’t forget Trails End also has a pretty good takeout menu if you want to eat back at your campsite and don’t want to cook!

    Loved all your tips... Except that Disney is ripping people off now on golf carts and they prevent any company from even pulling into the parking lot. And this year Disney raised the rate to over $65 a day for the rental of the golf cart. My suggestion if you plan accordingly is to use teetime rental off property which meets you right outside Disney property and you can drive their truck to bring their rental golf cart with their truck and then take it back or use your own truck with their trailer. It ends up being about 35 a day depending on how long you rent it. Definitely worth it

    • @Floridafanatic28
      @Floridafanatic28 4 роки тому

      No, they are not over $65 a day. They are $62 and change per day. I was just checking them out earlier today on the WDW website.

    • @CaptainDawg02

      Floridafanatic28 that’s still way too expensive. $30-35 is reasonable.

    380 a night is not a good deal unless you really want to camp at fort Wilderness. You can just go to the dvc rental store and stay at animal kingdom Lodge for a lower amount.

      Jaz In a room that can sleep 8-10 people like our RV rental could? Plus a huge amount of outdoor space included?

    • @yankeesusa1
      @yankeesusa1 4 роки тому

      @@stephanieandjeremypuglisi3278 that is very true. For a family of 5 or more pricing does go up and then the campsite will be a better option. I was referring to a family of 4. It's expected that the bigger the family the bigger the costs.

    $380 are you flipping crazy. You can stay at just about any moderate resort for less that.
    You mentioned the golf cart too.
    So your real amount is closer to $450 per night before tickets and food.

      Jerry Gundrum The RV we rented was 38 ft long and could easily sleep 8 people without sharing beds. A moderate or deluxe hotel means kids sharing beds and less comfortable space. The RV also has a full kitchen so we brought groceries and cooked 2 meals a day. This easily saves us 150 to 200 dollars a day-because if we were staying in a hotel room we would be eating out every meal. Lastly, the size of our site at Fort Wilderness is about 4-5 times the size of a hotel room. So we can have campfires at night, eat our home cooked meals outside, and play a game of catch or checkers on our private space at Disney. We weren’t presenting renting an RV and getting a site at Disney as a budget option-but as a different option if you don’t like staying at hotels.

      Jerry Gundrum , Me Too! Since it opened! I just did the math today for a trip September 2020. If you have your own camper, it is $900 less to camp than for a party of 2! To stay at pop century for a week.
      I don’t know where this idea that value hotels are less than camping began but it has Never, Never, Never been true, and you do yourself and others a disservice by repeating lies and rumours.
