HAFTHOR BJORNSSON - 400 lb AXLE FOR REPS - 2024 ARNOLD'S

Icelandic Strongman Hafthor Bjornsson competing at the 2024 Arnold Strongman Classic. During the 400 lb Axle for reps event, he was initially waved 'down' (indicating a successful 2nd lift). Subsequently, the official ruling was that he had only earned ONE successful lift. To be fair, the rep in question did look to not have been fully locked out, but he was given the successful wave down signal - and he put it down. Seems unfair to an athlete to be expected to go beyond what the referee in front of him is telling him to do.
