This was great, thank you. I’ve found myself writing a lot for monitoring / alerting code only to discover that many of these tools exist natively in GCP. Could you do a video on “the four golden signals” + Cloud Run? Specifically, what tools exist to monitor these signals in a glancable dashboard (like Looker Studio)? What tools exist to trigger alerts when these signals are trending the wrong way?

Agreed! If your system is down or slow, you will lose users and money. SRE can help prevent that.
Oh if the ops team is no longer needed, I'm gonna lose my job😢😢😢
Well, you'll be happy to know that even if everyone goes serverless, an ops team is still needed. The ops team will just spend less time on monitoring CPU load and more time monitoring user metrics, like response time. And those user metrics are very important to the business!
