      yea… I’ve been used to Naoya’s speed and watching a match like this, I feel they’re slow… but they’re normal on the speed right? Omg our man Naoya is superman. I’m grateful I’m Japanese and I get to witness Naoya live… it’s been 10 years now since Naoya is phenomenal

      Yea clearly you can see there is judges that will try to throw/rob a fight from someone, saying tapales only won 1 round is insane.

    the only ridiculous thing in this fight is a judge score 118-110. i dont know if he is drunk or something. well anyway, the right man won this fight. MJ have his moments in those last and championship rounds but tapales takes lots of rounds in first half of the fight.

    He leaves himself wide open when he jabs and likes to leave that lead hand down, Inoue is going to kill this man 😂

      Lead hand is down because he shoulder rolls. This will be an advantage because Inoue like doing body shorts to the left side of left handed fighters. Inoue will win, but not because of the that.

    Only those real boxing fans knows why somebody think akhmadaliev won, they think akhma dominated the half of the rounds but the left hand of tapales blocks a lot of punches from the beginning to the last if you had noticed it

      @JU Marie Bautista i don't know what you are talking about, but just look at the landed punches count. Compubox stats: total punches MJ 147 vs 121 Tapa , jabs MJ 37 vs 53 Tapa, power punches MJ 110 vs 68 Tapa. In what sense may someone think it was Tapales's win? Explain to me, my friend?

    Eddie Hearn saying Akhmadaliev is a special fighter at the press conference, I don’t think so. Mj is a class C at best which is why Tapales made him run for his money. Tapales is so underrated

    No matter if Naoya's opponent is Tavares or Murozon, he will lose by KO anyway.
    These guys are slow, punch with only a few moves, lack footwork, and are slow.

      True. Inoue looks like the new Pacquiao of this generation, too fast and agile, but for some reason, packs a punch.

      Never in inoue's fight career that he is a heavy underdog. All his fights favor his and home crowd also. Can inoue fight tank, ryan garcia or haney? His resume is lame.

      @@PJyReelsPh weight difference is huge, and ryan garcia is a B+ fighter lol. Inoues resume is not lame whatsoever either.. you probably just dont know your lower weight classes. every fighter hes fought too has also had a positive winning record besides one. Its also just wrong to say a currently 122 inoue who started his career at flyweight should fight lightweights and super lightweights. hes p4p the 2nd best in the world imo behind terence crawford.

      @@scaucymancannotdiebaby7034 yup, and Tapales is a natural unorthodox fighter he is an aggressive southpaw and he has a power to knock anybody out. but in this fight he portray patience and stick to the game plan, tho his moves are awkward because he adjust to orthodox. but he nailed it.

      Which Is weird considering the coaches during training, and sparring tell their fighters to keep jabbing, but when the actual fight starts we just start throwing bombs

      @@bigmanjoe3603 yeh! that's why we can see other boxers not making it out going 12 rounds. i think because of pressure?(not sure) but here one thing i observed about tapales is that, when he threw jabs he makes noise. which rare to see in his previous fights. which means he develop proper breathing while punching and receiving.

    I'd love to go for Tapalas as a Filipino, but Inoue is a beast and one of my favorite boxers. He's good, but I feel like Inoue is gonna be too much for him to handle. Looking forward to this fight!

    Tapales should maintain his stamina. He has a great defense, but his offense is a bit underwhelming. He should transition his defense into counter punches, efficiently. He must have better boxing decisions

      I don't get this comment. In this fight against Akhamadaliev, he's getting hit a lot. He didn't successfully block many punches, actually kept dropping his hands the moment before they landed, and didn't have much movement. His big swinging punches, his offence, and surprising timing seemed to be what he was doing well.

      He has no chance of winning. He is too flat-footed, no rythm and always swings wide with his right hook and left straight. He also lacks accuracy which is a big factor. He also looked gassed out at R8 while Inoue went toe-to-toe against Donaire full 12 rounds.

    I watched this fight and i think 115-113 for Tapales is the right score, MJ is agressive starting from mid rounds but Tapales has a good defense and countering effectively, it can be also a draw i think, this deserve a rematch

    I don't know as a Filipino we support Tapales but naoya is in a different level....Too good offense and defense and still learning at this moment!

    Tapales' jab, defense and movement were on point the entire fight, meanwhile MJ seemed somewhat hesitant in the earlier rounds, while his defense was getting exploited by Tapales who was landing all night. Despite the fact that he lost the titles to Inoue, this was a great performance by Tapales. Two top guys at their weight class going at it, you love to see it, respect to both warriors.

    Akmadaliev training studied the pressure style of tapales, but tapales used the technical style that's why in the first half he didn't won the round

    The former champion 🏆 made a mistake on letting the Challenger eat the first half of the fight. And then the former champion kept getting hit by the same and repeated shots (lead left uppercuts and long left hooks in the exchanges. Brave Tapales went for broke from the first to the last round. That's how you go for it 💪💪🥊🥊

      @@Yiren666 accurate punching is so overrated, tanungin kita sino sa tingin mo angat sa round si Boxer 1 who threw 100 punches but landed 20 or si Boxer 2 who only threw 30 but only landed 15? At the end of the day the one who landed more in every round but not accurate should always win against someone who threw less & landed less, it doesn’t matter how accurate you are, that’s how boxing should be judge.

    I'm not saying this because I'm Japanese, but these two lack both power and speed. Therefore, the probability of winning against Naoya Inoue is very low. If you fight Inoue, the match will be over by the 5th round.

      @@mueldelacruz1769 yep! nice observation right there bro. well, being aggressive is natural to him. he's a southpaw a natural unorthodox boxer, and filipino boxers fighting style way back then till now are aggressive. so it is rare to see tapales adjust his fighting style to condemn MJ's aggressiveness. and it's so damn effective, he made MJ flat footed🤣 he's like a natural orthodox boxer.(tho his form and hesitation is awkward) 🤣

    ROBBERY is impossible. Tapales was fighting under the promotional banner (eddie hearn) of his opponent. There is no way Eddie Hearn will allow his own fighter to get robbed in a close fight. Tapales outbox MJ for 7 rounds.

    Akhmadaliev's reluctance in the early rounds cost him the fight. I think they are evenly matched, marlon has unloaded his share in the early rounds but didn't back down when MJ started his ownslaught. A little too late

    I think tapales should not fight outside against inoue. Get in there to neutralize the power. But inoue has great footwork so I don't know if it will work. Use defensive infighting style where he leans on his opponent and he has a chance.

    That was such a good fight. I didn't score it while I watched it, but it felt like there were so many swing rounds, I had no idea who was going to get that decision. These guys were both amazing with this performance. I would love to see them fight again.
