My GRS electric Gauge 3 Prairie converted to radio control, battery powered with sound

A quick demo run on blocks after picking her up.
The original kit was from Garden Railway Specialists (GRS) in Princess Risborough. An M-troniks 24v ESC was used along with a cheap and cheerful 2.4Gh TX from Howes Models. The plates are from Guilplates. There are 14 1.5v batteries shoe horned into the boiler, each made up of seven, in a circular formation. These nominally deliver 1.2 volts, so that is around 17 volts to the 24v motor which seems adequate enough.
