Kayaking Hagen Creek and the Upper North Fork Washougal - 15" - 05.05.2024 (Full Run)

Hagen is definitely a favorite of mine and I wasn't sure if it was going to come in again this year. So great to get back on this incredible stretch of water one more time this season with Adam, Casey, Whitney, Luke, and Patrick.
We encountered two new pieces of wood (05.05.2024). First piece is about a couple hundred yards up stream of Hagen-Daz. It’s river wide in one of the small ledge drops. 3 boat eddy river left, 1 boat eddy river right above the drop. We portaged left.
Second piece is a river wide log in the boogie between tea kettle and crack drop. Almost exactly where the old piece was. We were able to easily float over it at our flow, which was roughly 15” when we got to the stick at the end of the lap. Could be an issue if you went at a lower flow.
This is essentially the entire run minus a few stretches of class II boogie. 15" on the NF bridge stick. 05.05.2024

Thanks, Brooks. I changed my line at Euphoria a little after hip checking the fan rock last year lol. Worked out pretty well this time.
