Breaking it down to the simplest form and simple explanation. That's what a tutorial is meant for. Can care less about constant ranting. Thank you for sharing this piece of gold.
This is by far the most accessible landscape tutorial I've found so far! Thank you so much! I followed this process for a new piece I did, and I love how it turned out!
@@angelr.9174 with the smudge tool in Photoshop. But if you are using other software, any smudging brush will do. The idea is to build the layers of paint on top of each other and lightly blend them together.
Hey, I got inspired by this artwork you drew and applied some techniques on mine, basically, I wanted to draw a beach that almost looks similar to this in my own way, and I'm asking if I'm allowed to sell my art since I see some artist are saying don't sell what you have done with the tutorial.
Woah! What happens around 2:36 after adding the sun, the clouds around it turn into a brighter color automatically? I suck at shading so I'd like to see how that goes at a more slower pace 😢
This was created with blending modes. Set a new layer to overlay or color dodge and try it yourself. Just make sure to use a darker color with color dodge otherwise it will burn out your painting 😄
That brush isn't part of the brush set at the moment, but a similar effect can be achieved with the 'Rembrandt' brush, from the Paintable texture pack.

Hello!! I can’t find the brushes that you specifically use for this illustration, I can only find the brushes used for drawing skin not lanscape
The texture brushes are now part of the Brushes Megapack in the Digital Painting Academy. 😊Take a look here: pntbl.cc/academy

@@Paintable oh alright thanks!! I'll try this brush then. Thanks for the tutorial :)
Perspective should be step no.1 then so on steps
Good point. This focuses on painting from observation rather than from imagination. Perspective is key for the latter.
