I bought the course from your video and am very unsatisfied with it. First off the platform itself is buggy as hell, the videos lag and barely load up, play and stop whenever they want. The lessons don't give practical teaching, just theory, which ok is useful, but in my opinion not enough. The shiny concepts shown in the trailer are actually just examples and nothing is drawn from start to finish (barely anything is drawn at all). It looks like they will show how to do such professional art or at least some part of it, but in fact it's just like boring powerpoint presentation. Keep that in mind
Iv just gotten back into drawing, and when i tell you this is one of the BEST video tutorials for bg's that I have came across I absolutly mean it. Everything is layed out perfectly. Instructions and application were understood and easy to follow. This video made me excited to draw and try new design structures. Great video! This was super helpful 👏
People really downplay the impact that post-processing can have on your finished piece! This is a really cool resource for people just getting into creating art!
Thank you for this tutorial. As an artist who mostly paint characters, I often struggle with painting environment and your video was very clear and full of great advice. Thanks for that !
Its the empty void of a canvas with a bajillion bg possibilities that gets me everytime xD - this tutorial was awesome, I just had to tell myself to keep drawing
Thank yoouuuu! They say it in every book but we don't pay attention to it until we've grown enough... Will try to use it. And thank you for the idea of a cloud shadow, it must be look great with rough edges!
Thank you so much for this tutorial, it’s super clear the layer workflow and super helpful to my approach to backgrounds :D! I have always struggled with the transition of an object that goes for foreground to background like the soil here, the gradient and cloud shadow were great tricks!!
¡Muchísimas gracias! Aprendí demasiado con este video y hasta me di cuenta de errores que he cometido en dibujos pasados jaja, te lo agradezco mucho, tu contenido es excelente! Saludos desde Costa Rica :D
This helped me so much in my landscape art journey! I recommend this tutorial to other viewers. It provides a chunk full of knowledge combined into one organized video. I hope you make more like these because you just earned a subscriber ,mah dude! xoxo
Hey man, loved the video, i just came across your channel and i found some very useful tutorials which I'm probably gonna binge watch from this video onwards, However i didn't find any video regarding explanation of blend modes, and i have watched hundreds of them from different channels and i was very overwhelmed with the amount of info they had, but i also did come to know that there are only a bunch of them which are supposed to be applied in use, so do make a video explaining them all and if you already have please provide me the link to your video
oh wow bro..... what a amazing video! I have spend hours watching digital art video's but yours stand out from the rest because you keep it simple but also kept a good pace with information. I hope you can do more video's like these. Also i see that you paint lighter parts of objects with a lighter color instead of using a layer effect like add or overlay. Can you tell me why?
I do use blending modes and layer effects a lot. But for this video I wanted to keep it simple and basic to make it easy to grasp. Part of the formula. I still used multiply and overlay in a couple of places tho.
You should make a Movie; “The Ultimate Guide to Digital Art.” You are a phenomenal artist and UA-camr, and I think if you made a clear, distinct, repeatable method for artists to practice to get as good as you are… People would watch. I’m sure of it.
Thank you so much fir your kind words. This really means a lot! I am actually working on publishing a course that'll be a few hours long, not really like a movie but more like a really really long tutorial split into chapters. I haven't decided on the title yet but thank you for the idea lol. I will definitely keep that one in mind.
Hey bro, really appreciate ur work... I am an digital artist kinda beginner.. I made few arts but , i don't know how to sell or whether anyone will like it or not.. Can u help me in this..
I know that brushes don't make you a better artist and stuff, but someone could tell me which brush It is the one he are using for the sketch, I like it xD
