Ships cannot use heavy fuel oil anymore in the area of Europe. Not for years have they been a dirty as said here. One ship equivalent to millions of trucks , Bollocks.
Those ships carry both bunker and fuel oil on board, switching as they enter European waters, still burning mostly bunker. Dumb enviros pushed restrictions so far that manufacturers moved to third world and creating 2-4x polution.
It is necessary to install the second part, the evaporator, on the trapping devices, in the aqueous solution. Clean water and steam, and take the solid fraction in ports, for processing sulfur into industry.
Can we not collect it from the smoke stacks, put it in recyclable bags and feed it directly to humans? It will cut out a lot of unnecessary suffering in the food chain.
Thorium powered mini reactors are an obvious consideration. Since development is going into making them for grid independent factories it seems like a relatively lateral move to implementing them on ships
A bit dramatic - I don't doubt the pollution of ships but a credible report to refer to with the actual studies and statistics would be nice. Numbers of how many cars equal one ship, or how many people are impacted by ships are just numbers without data. Please share or refer to a site if available.

one ship uses more fuel in one day than about 200,000 cars on the road
One ship can bring 200,000 cars here
@@jimwellnitz1751 dumb comparison
still they are more efficient
200 thousand cars can’t transport as many tons in one day as one ship
One ship transports 100.000 tons of cargo, 200,000 cars carry 200,000 laptops accompanied with a overinflated ego.

I think the navy has already figured it out.

They dont

We need ZEROPOINT NOW
Oh my God, eye opening information.
What is being done to reduce shipping impact on environment?

@@Olivier-pz2hy but unicycle only produces half as much dust!
just use ships
👍👍👍
A Bunker fuel ban needs to be in place like yesterday!
why cant they build electric ships
Battery would be about 80% of weight.
Have the largest ships switch to nuclear power
why?
@@PanzerkampfwagenVITigerIAusfE because it can run for 20 years or more on Nuclear power
@@Mr626667 but most cargo ships are top small to make this investment and the the rest are too efficient
Automated, hydrogen powered ships are the future.
Still cost too much money so not going to happen anytime soon
we dont need to do that
