Perhaps I’m in the minority. Devin Haney was cheated. Period. If Devin balloons up to a heavyweight on fight night, and there no rehydration clause, it’s not an issue. While I may disagree with it, it’s still in the realm of fairness, as per contract. What people seem to neglect to understand about performance enhancing drugs, is it doesn’t only enhance your performance on fight night, it allows you to train harder and longer in training. It’s all smoke and mirrors, we can talk about Devin all we want, but we wouldn’t be having this discussion if this clown was a professional and not a cheat.
You can train harder and longer in the ring but that won't have nothing to do on the fight night because you will always have to adjust to a fighter as well the opponent. If your opponents' IQ in the ring is above yours, that weight majority of the time doesn't mean shit.
