“Witch from mercury”, the School, the prologue- there was a sort of mask of positivity over the pretty terrifying reality of what was happening. Now there’s no need for that mask, the reality Suletta, less-so Aerial is a Killing Machine made to follow commands but under the guise of a smiling, kind girl.
This piece compared to «The Witch From Mercury» feels like a very apt way to summarise the plot development. From themes of hope, grace, beauty and almost knightly valor to something evoking more of a Bene Gesserit theme with the chants around halfway through. The end of Tomato Tanuki, the birth of The Witch from Mercury.
Season 2 is about to be NUTS! Lines have been crossed, 20+ year plans are being set into motion, traitors have been exposed, tomatoes are being squished... what will season 2 bring as the once wholesome, cute, semi-slice-of-life, yuri romcom continues its journey through the violent, dark, twisted, NTR-loving, war driven world of Gundam?? Whos knows... (I sure as hell dont... lol) GUNDAM "WHO WILL SURVIVE?"
If you pay attention to Gundam, you'll notice that pilots' second Gundams always have twin horns in some way, like RX-93... and I'll let you piece out the rest of the details...
It’s a damn shame there’s no official full soundtrack 😭 I’d been looking forward to the soundtrack release for MONTHS and when it finally came last December, we only got TWO songs. Which to be fair, they’re two absolute bangers but there were several other tracks from the show I heard that I was really looking forward to
To be fair, beneath the relatively normal highschool setting there's always a subplot of something brewing in the background in each episode. Plus we can kind of guess something's not as they seem if we see what happened in the Prologue.
They already warned you with episode 0, episode 6, and literally every scene with the adults through the entire first season. Not sure why people keep saying it wasn't until ep12 that it got dark.

Was it an intentional automation on the volume, or something? However, the choirs sound very good otherwise.
