Hey!!! I love my darn tough socks. Lol.
I think I've heard of those. Good brand.
@@FriarTuck81 tad scratchy at first but I really like them. Especially if they get wet
You can waterproof that bag are any fabric by using a silicone waterproofing spray and some same sealer you can find at a camping store, Walmart, etc.
I’ve thought about that, but I’ve seen some bags damaged by it.
Or you can use a heavy duty contractors or compacter bag as a liner to keep stuff dry.
I’m aware
Yep You can’t just grab one up you have to get the right one for your application it all comes down to the material make up
I like esee knives. Best warranty and blades. Tops and ka bar are okay but I like esee better.
Will have to look into them.
Thanks man. I’m still in Columbus if you wanted to meet up. 🤙🏻🇺🇸
That's the capital right? I'm thinking of heading up there for a couple weeks next month to talk to politicians.
@@FriarTuck81 yes it is. It’s actually a pretty cool city. Cops are cool enough to honor the second amendment. We are a right to carry state and I’ve never been messed with about it. Let me know when you’re gonna be here if ya wanna meet. Take care buddy 🤙🏻🇺🇸
@@adamedwards2261 will do
Good review. Are you still using it currently? If I'm not mistaken that's a top loader, have you used a panel loader? If so which do you prefer? Thanks Tuck.
The Teton mountaineering backpack has the side loader. Yes I still have my Teton.
Would love to meet up with you. I do live in the Cincinnati area, and I would love to pick your brain at some point.
If you see me on the street, tell me you’re a subscriber. I’ll be more than happy to chat with you.
what are the best products to have because the company doesn't fight you about warranty?
I will have to do a video on that
If find someone who has a grinder you can take those metal supports out, and round the edges off so they don't tear through the bag. I'd also consider the ILBE gen II rucksack if you can find one for a good price, or a FILBE rucksack in good condition for a good price. Even an inexpensive ACU rucksack is tough as nails.
I will look into that when I have an opportunity.
@@FriarTuck81you can grind them down on concrete
@@dirtyscoundrel2013 it still make it rough because of how rough the concrete is
@@FriarTuck81 not really. Find a smooth fine grained sidewalk or wall. You be surprised. I know because my hobby turned profession is knife making. Grinder is faster and easier but hard to find access to.
@@dirtyscoundrel2013 I will give it a try out of curiosity
