I have a very hard time playing this up to tempo. I'm slowly making progress, but fear it will be a long time before I make it to tempo. Is it worth it for me to work on it at a lower tempo, or should I sit it aside for now?

Why is it hard to play a low c on a beginner flute
jay cee i think all the extremes are difficult on a beginner flute (low or high register, dinamics, articulation) But a great tip to play both low and high notes easier is taking a full breath and just letting the air go through the flute, keeping your lips and throat openned/relaxed all the time not trying to blow hard on the flute. Just take a deep breath and relax letting the air go out naturally.
