I'm 35 now, and I remember playing it with my brother when I was 14. Watching the game brought me so many memories
I'm around your age and remember coming home from elementary, heating up some mini corn dogs or chicken sandwich and playing it. I played for several hours but of course went out and played and rode my bike too lol.

Seeing this damn near brings tears to my eyes. My little bro and I must have rented this game from Blockbuster enough times to buy it outright, maybe even twice. So many awesome memories. I would give anything to go back and feel that same happiness just for 10 minutes.
Honestly did not lose my smile for 5 mins. Rented this so many times back in the day the lady at the counter gave it to me.

Star wars demolition back in the day was a gem for this type of game genre as well . Loved them all.

This game was so good. One of my best friends and I played the absolute hell out of this, and N2O Nitrous Oxide. He passed away April 19th, 2024. I bought a copy of the game off of ebay to remember him. Knew him for 26 years. I going to miss him for the rest of my life.
who didnt play this when it first came out, cannot understand the feeling of pure joy and bliss. No game after ever felt that way... :(

GTA 1&2, Vigilante 8, and Twisted Metal 1&2 were so dope back in the day. Still are
I absolutely loved the car physics, impact physics, movement of vehicles from damage of weapons and impacts. Weapons physical attributes like when the missile is launched how it actually has to propel. The cannons when you get them how the move and focus on enemies. I haven’t seen anything close yet to this day

Don't forget the button combos for extra moves from each weapon!! Loved that!! And I used to love his game, looked even better with the expansion pack in for the 64

every friday i 'd come home from school and play this gem for the whole weekend. what an amazing game! how many good memories! at one point i found out that after starting the stage you could eject the disc, put inside a music disc and listen to your songs the whole time while playing!!! it blew my mind! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make a remastered version of the game. it would be SO awesome.

It was like a religious experience finding this game on the shelf at the video rental store back in the day after playing twisted metal to death as a kid.

Hm. I remember playing this as a kid. I never understood what the noises where when the vehicles would land in the menu.
It is supposed to be the sound of the car's suspension/springs working as the car is dropped. I always thought that was kinda cool.
